“surprise 6th birthday”
since booking this b&b and travelling it had new owners. The reviews were not as good and I was concerned. There was no reason to be. The owner sorted the 4 rooms out that I had booked not letting on to my husband that other members of our family would be arriving. The b&b was clean, with nice whit… more
since booking this b&b and travelling it had new owners. The reviews were not as good and I was concerned. There was no reason to be. The owner sorted the 4 rooms out that I had booked not letting on to my husband that other members of our family would be arriving. The b&b was clean, with nice white towels and bedding. There was a nice area in the garden to sit out. Location was perfect for what we required.

“Birthday surprise”
I booked 4 rooms for 8 guest last January and the reviews were very good. Since then the guest house as been taken over and the reviews are not so good.There was a warm welcome from Ismar when we arrived and he was very helpful. I booked 4 rooms for 8 guest last January and the reviews were very good. Since then the guest house as been taken over and the reviews are not so good.There was a warm welcome from Ismar when we arrived and he was very helpful. The room was clean with nice white bedding and soft white towels. There was tea and coffee making facilities. Location is very good for walking into and out of the city. Since the guest house was taken over there is no cooked breakfast. There is a breakfast box in the room. This was fine but I had paid for cooked breakfast. I would recommend this guest house and myself and our family and friends would stay here again.

“Close to city centre ”
I had booked this last year and it seems that it has changed owners since then. I was expecting a cooked breakfast from previous reviews but was given a basket of mixed items... croissants (no butter or jam) cereal milk fruit and juice. We had to eat it in our room though. I had booked this last year and it seems that it has changed owners since then. I was expecting a cooked breakfast from previous reviews but was given a basket of mixed items... croissants (no butter or jam) cereal milk fruit and juice. We had to eat it in our room though. There was noone to welcome us on arrival and I had to get instructions over the phone to gain access to the house. I was disappointed really and if I had been told that it had changed I could have booked somewhere else. On the positive side it is close to the city centre... walking distance.
