The staff are so friendly here. Second time I’ve stayed and they upgraded my room for free and also gave me 2 complimentary drinks at the bar. They always give a complimentary cookie upon arrival to guests. The rooms are lovely and clean, very spacious, the rooms with the runway view are lovely. The showers are amazing and the bed is so comfortable. It’s well worth the money for the location and the service when the travelodge opposite it the same price. The only thing I haven’t tried is the food here

Stayed here for 6 nights on business. As a gold member of the Hilton loyalty program I have stayed in many other Hilton / Doubletree hotels and have to say this hotel is below the standard it sets. The hotel is overpriced but they get away with it as it is close to the Excell exhibition and O2 arena s as nd dynamic pricing comes into play. On the first 2 nights the restaurant was closed so food was served in the lounge bar area. Service was slow and came with a service charge which I asked to be removed. Bedroom was clean and comfortable but the lighting was very dim especially in the bathroom which made shaving difficult. Breakfast was very poor. The selection on offer was good but the food was cold. Even at 06.30 when the breakfast opened the food was cold. The sausages were inedible and in my opinion were not pork as displayed, I think they were plant based but as I said they were inedible. They were very hard and tasteless. Fried eggs were warm and the bacon snd fried bread was cold. The croissants were not fresh and had obviously been cooked from frozen as they were also very hard. Staff were ok but not very friendly and didn’t seem to understand my request for a pint of ice water. When they did it took ages for them to bring it. The cranberry juice dispenser was blocked so therefore the cranberry juice didn’t flow. So to sum up my stay I would say it was a disappointing overpriced with a poor breakfast.
