“Second home”
Feels like my second home while away with work, it feels like a family hotel, everyone’s chatty and really friendly. The room is basic but comfortable. Better now they have a larger tv I can actually see it now. Nice to see the rooms being painted.

“Breakdown”
Didn’t plan on staying here, car trouble made us stop on our way to East Kilbride. Thankfully they had a spare room while I got my car sorted. The staff member went over and above to make sure we got sorted and let us know that if we needed food they were closing soon.

“Lovely hotel.”
Perfect stop off heading either north or south in Scotland on the 74. The value of the rooms are great and helps me choose this location time and time again. It’s off the motorway enough that it’s silent I couldn’t hear a thing from my room, perfect

“Very convenient and smooth operation, clean and spacious room. Very warm and kept the bike in the room overnight.”
Large room with ensuite bath. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast in the Service Station restaurant. Clean and well stocked for tea and coffee in the room. I would recommend this for anyone cycling LEJOG on the Gretna to Glasgow route.

“Bad receptionist, everything else good”
Everything was good, except the receptionst who was very rude. We had no wifi and the receptionist, he didn't even bother trying to help us and nor does he care about the customer service at all. It was clear that there is no intent from his side at all. Hence, we struggled with no wifi.
