“If carlsberg did pubs..”
This is how a pub should be. Great food, great staff. Certainly one of the best pubs in the area. Good choice of food and specials. Just wish the pizza oven was on every night. Brilliant pub you all do a great job. Highly recommend. The pie is outstanding and pizzas are excellent.

“This place is a Must!”
Very warm and welcoming with delicious pizza, we were too full for dessert! “A very homely Inn and a very Northern welcome!”
If you are looking for a traditional, welcoming inn, then this is the place to stay. We were there for the Emmerdale tour and managed to squeeze in a trip on the Embsay steam railway, Grassington, Skipton and Ripon, all within an easy driving distance with some breath taking scenery along the way.… more

The place itself is an Inn, but I can’t comment on the rooms as we only visited for a meal. However, if they are as good as the food you can’t go far wrong.
