Late to check in at 4pm, was late we thought, but we were able to leave our belongings in a safe place until we checked in at 4. Car park lift is broken, and has been fora while, so we dropped our bags at front entrance prior to parking. Bit of an inconvenience, however it reduced our car park costs dramatically for the 3 nights we stayed, so quite happy as I thought £75 for the 3 nights was a bit pricey. I did look for alternative parking, but couldn’t find anything much cheaper. Brighton parking is expensive! Read some negative comments about the hotel being tired, but I was very pleasantly surprised. We had a great stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful, check in can get busy, as not too many staff at times. Room was big and comfy, as was the bed, and choice of pillows. Bathroom clean with robes and slippers in our room. Windows of the 3 rooms we had, were all blown unfortunately so not a good view of outside. Breakfast was good, lovely staff, plenty of choice and quantity. We had a great stay, and would recommend the hotel. Bar closes a bit early, so don’t go there for a last drink, it’s closed by 11. Quite central along the main strip, but a 15 min walk to pier and area beyond, which got longer as the weekend went on! We had a great time and no complaints.

Very friendly check in, room was clean and comfortable. Great location, very close to everything! Sadly the air con was broken so the room was extremely hot, we reported the issue and was advised someone would be along whilst we were out, sadly no one arrived! “Dated”

The hotel is very tired and dated, it could all do with a good clean. My room was at the side so I had a partial view of the sea through a very dirty window. The hotel is very tired and dated, it could all do with a good clean. My room was at the side so I had a partial view of the sea through a very dirty window. The rooms are functional but stained, with the basic amenities. Bathroom didn’t seem to have a working extractor, steam built up and released into the bedroom as soon as the door was opened. Pillows were really uncomfortable - I had 3 rock hard ones and 1 very soft one. Plenty of towels provided though. Breakfast wasn’t very organised if you turned up as it opened, but there was a good selection of items. The location doesn’t get much better if you’re wanting to be by the beach - it’s just across the road. It’s an ok hotel for those wanting a place to sleep, but if you want a bit more I’d book somewhere else.
