Just returned from a 2 night stay, parking was easy within a multi story near by £1.50 per 24 hours. I was very grateful for the allocation of an inter connecting room with my sister who had the an accessible room. Just returned from a 2 night stay, parking was easy within a multi story near by £1.50 per 24 hours. I was very grateful for the allocation of an inter connecting room with my sister who had the an accessible room. Felt very safe as key cards were required to gain access to the bedroom corridors. Enjoyed a few drinks in the bar watching the cars go by during the evening, plenty of seating. Breakfast was hectic day 1 due to a large group staying, everything from cutlery to juice was needing to be replenished, however we all managed to get fed with one of the staff specifically bringing fresh food to us once it was cooked. No hesitation in recommending and would stay again if I was in the area.

The good: Close to the city centre. (However Bradford is under construction on nearly every pavement. Do not understand why it is all being done at once). Reception staff were very helpful. Parking cheap only £1.50 for 24 hours. The room cost £85 . Hotel is walking distance to theatres. It sits in a complex with a cinema, Nandos and Pizza hut otherwise a walk into town is necessary for other restaurants. The not so good: The hotel is next to a major road and junctions. Our room 408 overlooked the road. The window seal was hanging off so the window did not shut properly. The noise from the heavy traffic was awful all day and night. It never stopped. The bed was rather small but the hotel did say it was a double. Seemed more like a 3/4 bed. Not used to that. The facilities in room were fine. There was a small chip in shower cubicle but shower itself was good. However, where do IHG keep the toilet paper!! In a coal shed? It was black and dusty. Had to give it a good brush down before use. Sunday morning breakfast I have to say was the worst experienced in any hotel. It was crammed. Perhaps extending the hours may help. The cooked food was not ready; coffee machine not filled; milk urn empty; no cups for coffee even if it was full! I said to a very sweaty member of staff " there are no cups". Response " yes I know". He came back HOLDING five cups...no tray. "They are hot be careful". I was more concerned with the sweat dripping from him. He looked exhausted. No beans..."still being cooked". They should be cooked!! And that flipping toast machine was on a very go slow. Holiday Inn it was Sunday check out for most. What happened. Your staff were run ragged and guests puzzled at the disorganisation. I would not stay there again but still like a holiday inn.

The hotel its self is very close to centre just round corner from train station, its a nice hotel very good staff on reception when arrived however reason for three stars is I originally booked for 2 nights but had to leave after first due to family emergency I asked if was possible to have refun... more

The hotel its self is very close to centre just round corner from train station, its a nice hotel very good staff on reception when arrived however reason for three stars is I originally booked for 2 nights but had to leave after first due to family emergency I asked if was possible to have refund for second night and booking.com also asked for this and they wouldn't refund me which is frustrating due to the circumstances I thought they might of done so quite annoyed over that.
