We both really enjoyed our stay and found it so relaxing, we didn't want to go home. We were blown away by the restaurant, decor and staff who were all extremely friendly/professional. The room was incredible and gave us enough room to do what we needed but also still spend time together. The spa could potentially benefit from adding a cold room or an extra element, such as a pool outside to give it the wow factor we've found else where (especially as we did have to share with screaming kids come the afternoon). But otherwise it was very clean and a nice place to spend some time. The treatments we both had were incredible and just what was needed. The only real negative we had was the spa cafe shutting after lunch. We appreciate we could have gone to the restaurant area but we didn't feel comfortable doing that in our robes and swimwear - our treatments weren't until 5pm so we just fancied a coffee at 3ish but unfortunately we couldn't do this in the cafe. Other than that we will definitely be coming back again. Plus the woodland walk was just what we needed after a very indulgent evening and breakfast.

“Belton Woods”

Great place to stay and staff were superb especially Johanne. Great breakfast too. Very clean and comfortable. Pool was bit busy with lots of members. Good location. Room was lovely and comfortable and slept really well. Will stay again!!

In terms of a golf weekend, this place is a well oiled machine! There are two good courses to play and the rooms and facilities available are very good. Great value for money, and yes as one review said, the drinks are a little bit more expensive, but not ridiculously expensive. We were there on a hot, packed weekend, and we were concerned that they wouldn’t be able to cope with such large numbers at the bar and in the restaurants, but they coped very well indeed. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Would I go back?……..Yes, would I recommend it to others?…… Yes!

Staff very nice polite and helpful I thought room was big the facilities and grounds in very good condition The breakfast was superb and of a very good choice and standard we did eat in the restaurant on both nights of our stay and my only disappointment was the wait time on the second night We were waiting far to long for are food however a amicable solution was sorted with manger and we left in a good frame of mind One other annoying problem was the air conditioning this was pathetic and the room did get very hot during the night This was the only thing that didn’t spoil a really nice relaxing couple of days away in very comfortable surroundings
