For new year me and my family were stuck for ideas yet decided a little get away was due and bath has been on our list to go all year so finally followed through We’d recently stayed at a Hilton so came across the double tree and after a good experience booked it as I I have Hilton honours which gives room perks so prior chatted to the hotel to sort out what room (requested a river view) which was handy on check in welcomed by Max who I had actually talked to prior about the room which was nice to see face to face however Due to maintenance had a Room change but still a river view a few floors down (112) which worked better as we had a dog too so more handy Our Room was clean comfortable with everything we needed for one night to celebrate new year with a change of scenery and nice to finally visit the city , my parents got the iconic cookie on arrival too but as I was vegan offered a complimentary drink in the bar which was a nice touch and appreciated to not be left out or short changed My parents ate at Emma’s downstairs in the evening offering great quality may say on the pricier side but understandable and good value consisting of the steak + fish and chips which was good portions and came quickly I also Loved the accessibility and dog friendly bonus as our dog dined with us in the restaurant and was seen as another guest not seeing an issue and everyone loved him too The facilities such as The 24/7 gym was handy and a good selection of quality equipment that was up to standard and quiet on my Stay , easy to access with the room card to get a workout into 2025 Breakfast in the morning was a great selection and everything you would need Nathan was more Than helpful , I was offered oat milk porridge and vegan sausages as part of the the menu along with a variety of cereal , bread , fruit and continental offerings , a cooked breakfast slightly more limited for vegans but the beans was all I needed , juice , salad , teas / coffee with dairy alternatives that also got given during my stay and in the room when requested and no bother , great catering to allergies and gluten free station too with labelling on all the dishes Check out was smooth and very reasonable at 11am to give plenty of time and not feel rushed to pack up after a lil wander round however the weather wasn’t on our side so didn’t last long but warmed up in the room before heading off Nothing to fault and would definitely return , well run establishment with professional and friendly staff , me and my family had a great time ( two and four legged)
