We stayed in this hotel the night before flying out of aberdeen airport on holiday and chose it because i am a member of IHG. firstly this is a great hotel especially if you are flying from aberdeen as it is an easy 10 mins drive to the airport. It is well situated in a quiet estate on the outskirts of the city. Our room was on the top floor with a lovely view to the rear of the hotel and was a interconnecting room but i didnt hear any noise from the room next door despite the hotel being full. The restaurant was lovely with a great menu and we got a table easily for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Car parking was also plentiful. I have no complaints with this hotel including the price which was very reasonably. Check out time was 11am and we would have loved to have been able to wait another hour to tie in with our airport carpark booking but i would really recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay here again if we were fkying out of aberdeen.

“Great location out of the City”

Nice greeting on arrival, plenty of car parking space all round the hotel, good looking foyer. Nice greeting on arrival, plenty of car parking space all round the hotel, good looking foyer. We had a nice room at top and back of the hotel looking toward Aberdeen FC training ground in the distance. Aircon in the room as well as an opening window the latter is always good. Bathroom was tidy enough though we had a temperamental light above the shower, sometime on other times not. All the water is linked so if the sink tap was on or the toilet cistern was filling up there was very little or no water in the shower so just had to wait a little, no big deal really. The room had all we needed, large screen TV, never sure why hotels put such large screens in a relatively small room. Comfy chair in the corner was good, small bedside units were also good but did block off double electric sockets so had to move them a bit. I have stayed in numerous IHG hotels all over the World and have to say this room had the worst mattress out of all of them, it was really really soft, bouncy and saggy, if I turned over my wife felt every move so not really pleased about that aspect though everything else was very good. I mentioned it on our departure but it just seemed to get shrugged off as if I was kidding. The room has a safe and usual tea making facilities but the fridge was removed. I had to take out the ironing board fixture from the wardrobe to get clothing in it. A bonus was the hotel has a Sports Bar as there are no other places to have a beer anywhere close by - not that we found anyway. We ate one night in the restaurant/bar which was very nice, with good service and tasty food, seemed a bit short staffed. Its a great location, small shopping centre opposite including restaurants. The staff were all very nice, chatty and friendly and I would certainly stay again but the mattress might make me think again as sleeping was not good.

They have a vending machine on each floor of the rooms which is very fairly priced and ice machines, Couldn’t ask for more and I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Attended for the Sunday carvery, sadly the food was cold and didn’t meet expectations. Booked a table for 5:30 and was told the carvery was closing at 5:45 which left not much time to get our meal. There was hardly any food left. We didn’t feel comfortable speaking to the senior waiter since he already had a bad attitude and was continually being rude to his junior staff in front of customers. Having worked in the catering industry I was appalled how he spoke to his colleagues. Then to be given an added service charge was an insult. Sadly, I won’t be recommending
