Family holiday, 1st time at the Sofitel but have stayed at another hotel on 9 previous trips. We were not disappointed! We had the excellent hotel transfer, The large size rooms fantastic, balloons in the room on arrival my children were over the moon ! Excellent room service the night we arrived. All the guys with the golf buggies were always so fantastic, happy and helpful. The rooms were kept so nice, grounds are so pretty all the lifeguards and teams around the pool and beach with the towels etc were so kind. A huge deal for us is the food as our daughter is severely allergic to Dairy and egg. We would like to give special thanks to all of the team in the buffet restaurant. We found this the best place to eat for variety for our daughter. The thoughtfulness to make our daughter feel included by making her meals separately and safely as she couldn’t eat from the buffet due to cross contamination was exceptional. I don’t have all the names so apologies but the manager I messaged daily to order the food so we could eat together at the buffet without my daughter having to wait for a long time for food was Manoj 🙏🏻 & Chef Madan were amazing along with Chef Ganesh. Nabil Snehal Masud Dipa and Wimas, Thank you all so much. The manager from the Indian was amazing too bringing our meal to the buffet restaurant so we got to try some other food but our daughter could be catered for in there. A couple of big improvements regarding Dairy and egg allergy that should be made for sure is the beach/pool menu. We were staying for 13 nights, It would have been nice to order lunch but we only had the choice of fries or salmon & steamed vegetables as nothing else was safe we were told in ingredients or how it was made. I think this should &could easily be improved. Secondly the ice cream hut on the beach was immaculate so nice to have, we were excited to see 3 choices of sorbets but they are all beside the other ice creams which meant potential cross contamination we had to sign to say we took the liability! takes the shine off getting a sorbet for your child. This can be easily rectified, Having the sorbets in a separate area with their own scoops. Many people have dairy allergy or choose not to eat Dairy so a couple of choices of ice cream along with the sorbets and a cone that’s safe would be a huge improvement. So allergy sufferers especially kids can enjoy an ice cream on holiday like everyone else 🙂 We loved our stay and will definitely be back next year. Thank you all so much

We have had exceptional service from Zia in the Premier Lounge. He always greets you with a warm welcome and a beaming smile. He is constantly polite, courteous,and friendly. We have had some great conversations with Zia about his life back home,here in Dubai,and his commitment to carrying out Ramadan.He always remembers what your favourite tea or coffee preferences are and gives you different suggestions also from around the world. Although there are many other guests in the lounge he always finds the time to have a chat with us which makes the whole experience more personal.He is a great asset to the Premier Lounge team and the hotel.
