On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

“Great location for le mer ”

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were large yet dated. The hotel has a small pool, buffet breakfast, 'sports bar'. All of which are fairly low quality but the real selling point is that the hotel is literally on the doorstep of le mer beach, which is a really improved area. Many nice restaurants (soon a 'Stars and Bars') can be found here and also water sports. For a low price a stones throw from the beach, I couldn't fault this hotel. We would return for future weekend stays in Dubai by the beach but within half hour of Dubai mall, the palm, deira, etc. just don't expect Dubai luxury! 👍🏻
