“Another great stay”
Another great stay at the LRM. This was our third stay and everything met our expectations. We stayed in a tower club room on a half board basis. Another great stay at the LRM. This was our third stay and everything met our expectations. We stayed in a tower club room on a half board basis. In our opinion this is the best option and to take advantage of taking breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canapés. My only wish is that afternoon tea is served earlier than 3pm. Maybe 2pm ? We arrived early and we were given our room plus breakfast in the club lounge. Whilst this is not the norm…the staff will go the extra mile to accommodate an early arrival and this is why we will keep coming back to the LRM. The staff in the club lounge remembered us from our previous stay back in 2022. One person that we did miss dearly was Roy. Roy was a gentleman that demonstrated customer service at the highest level but nonetheless everyone was superb. We got to experience the new restaurant by Nick Alvis….The Beam. This was superb and the half board menu had good choices. Also loved the shuttle bus to take you over to the Grosvenor Hotel and sample the restaurants there. Hopefully we’ll be back later this year.

“FIVE STARS”

We spent 6 nights here in a Club room. As always everything was great. The new restaurant Le Beam is superb. The location of the hotel is excellent with direct access onto the beach. Our favourite member of staff....as always is Hasnain M who spends a lot of time in the Club reception. Whatever you want...no matter how obscure...he will get it for you. Management really should notice how good he is and give him a promotion or at least a bonus. Our only negative point about the hotel is the cream for the scones in the Club lounge. It's that horrible cheap squirty stuff...not nice. Why not have some nice classy clotted cream. We spent the previous 6 days at The WA on The Palm and they had lovely clotted cream to go with their scones at afternoon tea. Let's see if management respond regarding the clotted cream. I know it's only a small point but it does put The WA a bit ahead of you

“Superb Hotel - 3rd visit!”
This was our 3rd visit staying in a Club Tower Room. Fruit left daily and our room was cleaned beautifully by Billal. Also appreciated the chocolates at turndown service every night. This was our 3rd visit staying in a Club Tower Room. Fruit left daily and our room was cleaned beautifully by Billal. Also appreciated the chocolates at turndown service every night. We love the executive lounge and enjoyed complimentary juices during the day, a wonderful afternoon tea and of course all the delicious canapés etc in the evening with our pre dinner drinks. Special mention to Solomon and Kaung for their perfect customer service and attention. We also enjoyed breakfast in this lounge every day as the main buffet restaurant was busy. There are so many places to sunbathe and wonderful not to have to worry about getting a sunbed. The pool assistants are always so efficient bringing towels, putting up the umbrella etc. The sunbeds are extremely comfortable with thick cushions. The only thing to be aware of is that water is chargeable in the outside areas - they only supply ice buckets etc. we were caught out on the first day but brought water down from the room on subsequent days. The restaurants are incredible here, the set menu for half board equally impressive. One welcome change is now the complimentary water with dinner in most restaurants. So this third visit was perfect again. Such an amazing Hotel and we can’t wait to return.

“Wonderful stay!”
It's a great place. The service was wonderful, the grounds were nice, and the spa was fantastic. I highly recommend it. One of my favorite things was the breakfast. They were super attentive and kept special items ready for me upon request! I will be back.

“4th stay - reduced quality”
This was my 4th stay at the hotel, and I have to say I was disappointed at the decline in quality and service. This was my 4th stay at the hotel, and I have to say I was disappointed at the decline in quality and service. I have always rated this a 5 star experience but there were a number of let downs on this occasion. Breakfast - service extremely slow, it takes at least 15 minutes for your drinks to arrive. On a number of days, queues of up to 20 people were waiting to be let in which went into the reception. Staff did nothing to speed things up. This was quite unnecessary given breakfast was empty. Additionally, must highlight that staff on the door were intent on putting people off sitting outside, it was quite bizarre. There had been a drizzle in a morning however this had been well cleared, but staff repeatedly told guests it was raining when it was not, it had cleared and chairs were dry Room - rooms are immaculately clean, we were situated in the tower above the beam. However I heard a number of couples had received free upgrades due to the hotel not operating at capacity. Given this had been our 4th stay, a 30th birthday, I was left wondering why we were not given the same treatment and instead looked over building works. Evening buffet - the reason I frequently return is because of their excellent service accommodating to allergens, however this time we did not experience the same. In the main buffet - the staff could not correctly identify gluten free food, they suggested this was because the head chef wasn’t available, but unfortunately this is not a good enough excuse. Luckily I was not ill but again disappointing. La deck - they seemed intent on scare mongering me that Heinz mayo contained gluten. This was just quite ridiculous despite me highlighting a number of times it did not, even with the packet in front of me. It was just silly and time consuming to then get lunch every day. It seemed they were more intent on protecting themselves than actually providing a service. As someone who has suffered with celiac for over 10 years I am well educated and found this stressful. Sunbeds - by 10am each day the majority of sunbeds were reserved especially round the pool. Pool beds were like sardines on top of each other. Beds would be reserved with people not then appearing until later in the afternoon. For the first time this gave brits abroad rather than Dubai luxury. With all this being said, the hotel is fabulous but given my previous stays which have been 10/10, I was disappointed.
