“Golden Sands staff certainly make every one welcome.”

The staff are so friendly and helpful, all polite and nothing is too much trouble, Rooms are cleaned to a high standard and the cleaning staff always friendly, The pool staff always take time to have a conversation , and are always welcoming. Staying at Golden Sands 5 / Goldensands 3 apartments , For many years my Husband and I have always enjoyed staying here, in fact we would not go anywhere else. unfortunately this time with the loss of my husband, I made a solo trip, The staff kindness and sympathy shown to my self was very moving and genuine . Coming to Golden Sands is like a 2nd home with a wonderful Family atmosphere. and very central to all amenities, especially for a female traveler. I do hope to return again, because Golden Sands welcoming staff attitude deserves a 10 star rating.

Very good accommodation in Bur Dubai. The roms are specious with facilities of service apartment. You will find conduction plate with utensils apart from refrigerator and iron. Very good accommodation in Bur Dubai. The roms are specious with facilities of service apartment. You will find conduction plate with utensils apart from refrigerator and iron. You will find toiletries and dental kit but don't forget to bring shaving kit with you as they don't provide it. The breakfast was very good but you have to go early in the restaurant if the hotel is fully booked as the capacity of restaurant does not match with the size of hotel.

Golden Sands 10, where we stayed, was nice enough. We had a fully equipped 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. The price was reasonable and the staff was very helpful. However there are a few issues with this property: 1. They don't have a functioning restaurant except for buffet breakfast. 2. The fixtures & faucets in their bathrooms are extremely old and require constant service. They need to be replaced.& 3. They have installed old televisions in the apartments at a time when smart televisions are increasingly the norm.

Once again we chose Golden Sands 3 for our stay in Dubai, based on previous experiences and early booking of a desired apartment (Feb 2024), we considered this our best choice. We have previously described the hotel as a 3-star hotel with 5-star staff, it has spacious apartments and a central location, which is exactly what we want. When you arrive in the middle of the night, the last thing you want is trouble - but this time neither the apartment nor anything else was granted, and what was worse, the apartment we ended up with wasn't clean, and several things didn't even work (eg. washer/dryer, refrigerator, etc.). Normally we stay for at least 2-3 weeks, but this time the stay was so short that the problems we had, although most of them were fixed, affected us every single day and made the stay both a tiring and annoying experience. As it appears to us as guests, there is a major failure on the part of whoever is in charge of Housekeeping, with so many defects and broken objects and poor cleaning, this is not something that has arisen overnight. We ended up with a new washer/dryer, a new kettle, 2 repaired air conditioners that both suddenly leaked water in large quantities one morning, as well as some clean curtains. I gave up on getting the fridge/freezer fixed, the food we had in the freezer had to be thrown away, something in the fridge could be saved. I have several times in the past both praised the hotel and not least the staff - this experience was certainly not pleasant. Thanks to a few key people, we stayed the time we had booked - these people have also previously proven to be incredibly service minded and very helpful - they once again deserve all 5 stars I have previously given them. Big thanks once again to Abdullah (Guest Service Agent) who, with great respect for all guests, helps everyone in a polite way, quickly, with a smile and with great enthusiasm. Big thanks also to Gulab (Bell Boy) who was of great help to us on arrival at night, as well as on departure. Both Raj (Bell Boy) and Evan (Bell Boy) also contributed with smiles and offers to help as they have done several times before. Also, as before, Thea (Sr. Privilege Members Associate) has been a great help regarding everything with the booking and her knowledge of things that are happening. Finally, but not least, an incredibly big thank you to Binita (Housekeeping) who for several years has kept our apartments in top condition, even though they do not initially belong to her area of daily cleaning. We have no doubt that more people in housekeeping could benefit from learning how to clean from Binita, she is careful, quick and efficient - not least she remembers small, not time-consuming wishes we have. Without the aforementioned people, I doubt we would continue to use Golden Sands 3 in the future. there has been far too much time spent on unnecessary problems with the apartment this time. Despite the problems, has a 24/7 open reception, swimming pool, kitchenette, the hotel is centrally located, close to the shopping center and the Metro, has several helpful staff, and they usually fix the problems relatively quickly, but with a shorter stay it will probably seem tiring.
