What an amazing hotel. We were allocated a double basic room which was anything bar basic . The staff ate out of this world . They are totally intuitive, alert, aware of even your smallest needs and nothing g is too much trouble and everything is a pleasure. The buffet is incredible with everything you can think of and do much more . If it’s not there , which is highly unlikely then they will create it x The pool is surrounded by bed chairs - no need to reserve. Everyone gets two towels as they arrive . Constant cold water, ice lollies and fruit kebabs. They do a great wraparound around menu so if you are half board you can decide whether you want lunch or dinner. Lunch as an extra is very reasonable . The hotel in my eyes was faultless . The beach adjoins the pool and is beautiful to swim in and do warm x the sand is golden and the service is as good as the pool x

Wonderful resort on the most beautiful beach in the UAE, amazing service and outstanding food. One of the best breakfasts ever! Many delicious gluten free options too. Rooms are new, spacious and perfectly equipped. Aspects to improve: the AC in the corridors and hallways is unbearable and got me sick….it’s really freezing inside and it’s a shock every time you go back and forth with outside. Kidsclub should arrange more activities outdoors. There are some construction going on and it’s a little bit annoying.

“Great relaxing family hotel, which can do more.”

Stayed at The St Regis for a week with my family (2 adults/2 kids). My first day at the hotel wasn’t great, the check in experience was poor and lacked a personal touch or care. I was directed to a check in person who was already on a call, which meant an awkward few minutes while I sat at the desk without being properly acknowledged. Maybe it would be better to use a seating area while check in staff are not ready? The experience wasn’t great and it felt like I was handed my room key and told to go upstairs. We had a couple of other issues on the first day and I felt like I had made a huge mistake in booking at the St Regis. I then spoke with Nadia at Guest Relations who listened carefully and understood where I was coming from. She took action and passed my feedback to what felt like the whole building. On the following days were fantastic. This is only down to the staff and people on site who made it great. Breakfast service was vast with tables quickly being allocated and staff always available to help. Akhil and Waseem would always come across to check in with all guests to make sure everything was spot on. For dinner, Chef Lalit would be on hand and was aware of our arrival and would come across to ask if anything special could be made for us or the kids. Pizza and pasta was always available and made quickly. My son cheekily asked if they had some prawns and Chef came back in 10/15 minutes with fresh fried prawns - excellent experience. In the pool area, the staff there were also really help - it was painless getting a seating area and the pool never felt too busy. Panda would regularly come across to ensure we had everything we needed, again - I felt like he wanted to make sure our stay was great. The beach area was also great and everyone should go and experience a sunset there. Compared against other hotel stays, this was the most personable stay I’ve had. I haven’t stayed anywhere where I have spoken and remembered so many team members on my visit. I feel that if I walked back into the building now, they would still remember me - they went out of their way to make sure everything was great. The construction on site is a real pain and I feel that the hotel rates should reflect this. One of the restaurants is being re-done and then there large building works taking place near the beach - this was not mentioned on the site or the app prior to booking. Overall a great place to stay with some fantastic people, good facilities and perfectly geared towards a relaxing family holiday. However, the property lets itself down when it comes to value for money, rates are high and not reflective of what you’ve paid for. This would be my deciding factor when considering this property again.
