I think Seven Hills is the best package of value and location and service in Istanbul. Quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. Fabulous location 50 mts from ticket plaza for Topkapi and Hagia Sofya. Amazing breakfast. Terrace to welcome sunrise or watch Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofya and wind down in quiet. Reasonable price. Most important - staff of genuinely nice, helpful and welcoming people. “Best getaway and foodie experience to Istanbul city”

Absolutely fantastic hotel in a really good location close to all the key landmarks. All the museums, market paces/Grand Bazaar, the boat trips during the night and day. Warm people everywhere you go and so beautiful a time with such historical foundations.

Very convenient location for sightseeing and a wonderful breakfast made this hotel a fantastic choice for our recent visit to Istanbul. Staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our room. The property is a historic building so it has some quirks but the hotel has done a nice job with things in general. Blue Mosque view room on the corner was a bit of a tight squeeze for 3 people (king bed + extra bed added for our daughter) but overall very nice and we enjoyed drinking coffee on our little balcony in the mornings.

I would like to start by pointing out that the employees in the hotel and restaurant were top notch, they were helpful in every way and any negativity in this review is not directed at the staff. The hotel is outdated and we had a broken toilet when we arrived , the top was off and laying on the floor, we reported this and someone was supposed to repair it, we left our room at 5:00 p.m. and returned at 11:00 p.m. still not repaired , we were told that we had to reach in the back and pull the lever to flush it, this is okay at my home but not in a hotel we are paying for , the next day it was repaired. Our room was on the first floor and down a hallway which used to be another hotel, the view was of a wall outside and an air conditioning unit that ran all of the time, we couldn’t leave the window open because there was no screen, so the room was stuffy, we asked if we could change rooms,and the next day they moved us , they apologized and gave us a bottle of wine….. which they were supposed to have given us as part of the room gratuity anyway . The tub and shower in both rooms were not clean, mold on the tiles, etc, but the housekeepers were very nice and worked very hard, again the hotel needs renovation. The location is great, the views from the restaurant were awesome, food was good. If the staff were not as attentive and professional as they were and the fact that we weren’t in the room most of the time ,we would have moved to another hotel. The management and owners of this hotel should know that the staff are the only reason this hotel is still alive , please renovate the rooms. Everything else is great.
