The hotel location is superb. It’s less than 5 minutes to the Blue mosque and Ayasofya mosque. Down the street is a good selection of restaurants. The opposite way you can be on the promenade along the bosphorus in 10 minutes. The hotel has a terrace on top with amazing views of both mosques. The bed was very comfortable with 2 different pillows. The room had a nice shower decent size for Europe. The room was very clean. The staff were all very helpful and polite. If I were to return to Istanbul I would stay here again.

“Wonderful stay, perfect location, great views, friendly and helpful staff, safe for two girls traveling solo alone!”

My friend and I stayed at Seven Hills Hotel for 4 nights in September 2024 and had the most wonderful time! The location is incredible — very walkable to a lot of big tourist sites in the historic Sultanahmet neighborhood, as well as having easy access to local public transit Istanbulcart stops. As two girls traveling alone, we felt VERY safe at this hotel as the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, spoke fluent English, and were very helpful when we had questions / wanted some recommendations. There were also 24/7 doormen welcoming guests (and keeping things safe). Although, I will say that Istanbul as a whole city was very safe. The hotel room was perfect sized with a nice bathroom, and we had an amazing view of both the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Also, the rooftop restaurant is awesome and easy to get reservations at when staying there. The surrounding area is very cute too, lots of stores and other restaurants/rooftops nearby. Overall we had the best time in Istanbul, and our hotel choice was definitely part of making our trip so great. I’d like to specifically shout out Ozan Jr. (the concierge that helped us every day), and Sinan, the wonderful doorman that was incredibly kind and provided a warm welcome “home” every time we got back to the hotel. Thank you everyone! Would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

“Great location and vey helpful staff”

Booked this hotel as it was mid-range price with good reviews and location. It is extremely close to both the Hagia Sofia and the blue mosque which are about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Booked this hotel as it was mid-range price with good reviews and location. It is extremely close to both the Hagia Sofia and the blue mosque which are about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. In fact, if you visit the terrace restaurant for breakfast or dinner, you will get a wonderful view! However, this famous view comes at a price - there are a LOT of visitors to the hotel to visit the restaurant which means that in the evening the foyer and lists get clogged up by non hotel customers. This means the lists just are not available! Didn't affect us as we had a room on the first floor so just walked up the stairs. The room was spacious and decor was very Turkish - though a bit tired and was noisy during the day as we were just above the street. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. Overall, hotel is OK - bit dated but great location and good for what we wanted. Its also handy for the restaurants which are literally on its doorstep. For me, the highlight was the staff. Very helpful and friendly, helping out with any issues, arranging taxis and in one case, paying for a taxi when our taxi wouldn't accept applepay! Thanks to the staff! Overall, a great hotel and staff with great views and location - just a little dated.

I would like to start by pointing out that the employees in the hotel and restaurant were top notch, they were helpful in every way and any negativity in this review is not directed at the staff. The hotel is outdated and we had a broken toilet when we arrived , the top was off and laying on the floor, we reported this and someone was supposed to repair it, we left our room at 5:00 p.m. and returned at 11:00 p.m. still not repaired , we were told that we had to reach in the back and pull the lever to flush it, this is okay at my home but not in a hotel we are paying for , the next day it was repaired. Our room was on the first floor and down a hallway which used to be another hotel, the view was of a wall outside and an air conditioning unit that ran all of the time, we couldn’t leave the window open because there was no screen, so the room was stuffy, we asked if we could change rooms,and the next day they moved us , they apologized and gave us a bottle of wine….. which they were supposed to have given us as part of the room gratuity anyway . The tub and shower in both rooms were not clean, mold on the tiles, etc, but the housekeepers were very nice and worked very hard, again the hotel needs renovation. The location is great, the views from the restaurant were awesome, food was good. If the staff were not as attentive and professional as they were and the fact that we weren’t in the room most of the time ,we would have moved to another hotel. The management and owners of this hotel should know that the staff are the only reason this hotel is still alive , please renovate the rooms. Everything else is great.
