In a city shock-full of excellent hotels particularly from Marriott and Accor chains, I tend to be more difficult to impress than elsewhere in the world. This hotel left a very good impression despite the high bar. First off, in Istanbul I think Autograph Collection and Tribute Portfolio hotel brands are a very good fit for the city. This is an old building recently converted into a hotel so it has a lot of character; while it might not have a lounge like the more traditional brands such as Sheraton and Marriott, there are many public areas, some of them quite private, which allow to have more interesting and inspiring working spaces and meeting areas. On the morning of arrival I noticed online that the hotel was down to only one room type available so my expectations for an upgrade were modest. Once I arrived at reception the guest relations supervisor stopped by to chat. She said that prior to my arrival she read my guest preference file and noticed that I had mentioned to another hotel in the past that I valued upgrades as Ambassador Elite guest. She said it was challenging for this stay due to high occupancy but that she was able to assign me a suite. I am not sure how she pulled it off if almost all room types were sold out, but just the fact that she went out of her way to read about what a customer likes before arrival, is very impressive even in this city where many hotels have good service. The suite was charming and worthy of the Autograph brand, not to mention decent quality hardware. The location of the hotel is very good for both first time tourists or frequent guests as it’s a stone’s throw from Şişhane metro station. The breakfast venue looked great like the rest of the hotel and because this hotel is not very big, breakfast was quiet at least at the time I was there. There is no buffet at all, it’s entirely a la carte, which is a positive. The one area of improvement would be that the menu is a bit thin and could get boring fairly quickly for a multi-night stay. Overall I was impressed by this hotel and I would recommend it.

We had a last minute booking, literally a walk-in after our Airbnb was a disaster. Not only was Adahan DeCamondo Pera a very luxurious and reasonably priced place it was very accomodating and the staff were professional and friendly - shout out to Esma, Hüseyin, Murat and especially to Cumhur. Thank you for your kind and warm service. The room was spacious, comfortable with a good mattress and pillows and good pressure from the shower head. The breakfast is also really nice with a wide range of both eastern and western options. The location is in the heart of stunning Pera and not far from Galata tower, Şişhane station and walking distance to a variety of restaurants and cafes. The only regret we have is that we only stayed one night - we wish we spent longer!

We had a wonderful stay at Adahan DeCamondo Pera, Autograph Collection Hotel! I stayed with my mom and sisters, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warm hospitality. The rooms were beautifully designed, comfortable, and offered great views of the city. The highlight of our mornings was the incredible breakfast, with a variety of fresh and delicious options. The location was also perfect, allowing us to easily explore the vibrant neighborhood. We truly loved our experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Great location away from the tourist area. Comfortable room. Our memories of our stay will be dominated by the view from our breakfasts on the rooftop terrace. Stunning vista of The Golden Horn and the old City with the distant skyline punctuated by several mosques. Manager Yazmur seemingly was always present in the lobby inquiring as to how she could serve us.
