“The troglodyte hotel experience ”
Enjoyed the troglodyte experience at this hotel. Friendly staff. Traditional or troglodyte rooms. Very cool. Pool was empty as too early in the season for swimming. Food was satisfactory. Surrounding area very interesting with the Star Wars history and troglodyte living style.

“Nice, good value-for-money place to stay in Matmata”
We very much enjoyed our two-day stay at Hotel Matmata. Don’t expect luxury - you’re in a village on top of a mountain - it’s simple, but it has everything you need and room rates are very fair.
