stayed here a few times now, found everything ok, rooms good size well cleaned, staff friendly enough, good car park, good location close to everything, swimming pool alright nice size, no food on site but plenty within easy walking, nice beach few minutes walk away. wifi could be improved but mostly ok, also as most places in Thailand A/C. units never work as they should, rarely are they cold enough, lack of maintenance i assume, found ours just "ok" but will have no problem staying here again, book online for about 850 baht, we think good value for money

Whats with all the negative reviews seriously, greeted well upon arriving 1000 baht for security on the room, taken to the room which was great with a balcony and trees outside looking over the pool, the room was clean and had a good feel about it, the Television had a minor fault and needs replaci… more

Whats with all the negative reviews seriously, greeted well upon arriving 1000 baht for security on the room, taken to the room which was great with a balcony and trees outside looking over the pool, the room was clean and had a good feel about it, the Television had a minor fault and needs replacing soon and the WiFi was a pain sometimes during the day i would give it 4/10 and night time 8/10 but i had a comfortable stay in hotel that was a good location to everything or i just stayed by the pool and relaxed.

Good location. Room was adequate (1000 THB) but nothing special. The pool area is pleasant but not enclosed from the side street where a number of bars are situated so it's very noisy until late. We went for a massage on the main road opposite the beach and had to wend our way around a number of drunk old European men being propped up by local ladies on the way back - nothing to do with the hotel but reflective of the area in which the hotel is located. Staff I met were very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is down a side street off the main beach road, maybe 200-300 metres from the beach (3 minute walk). It is old, large & has had face lifts over the years & due for another but if it did, then prices go up. Our room faced the back pool area with a balcony, shade much of the day. It was clean but had a musty smell which we got used to, there was also a sewer smell in the bathroom that came & went & also got used to. There was a big stain with peeling paint in a corner where water obviously leaked in. After that, the room was clean, clean linens, newish furniture, couple chairs, short table, desk area, TV (few English channels, couple Russian, French, German), AC, mini-bar, kettle/coffee, wardrobe, slippers, hair dryer, 2 bottles of water, shampoo/soap& large towels. Wi-fi free but sometimes needed to change connections even if had a good one for a while. There is a nice pool (1-3 m deep) with loungers, tables& chairs & shade is where you find it. Most of the time worked well except when some very selfish people claimed several loungers early & then did not come back for at least seven hours later. Other guests would come, look for loungers & leave, people don't do that, be considerate! Short term holds are okay, not all day! They have a breakfast restaurant which we did not use, not included in our rate. There are 7-11's & a fresh donut/pastry shop nearby of breakfast/snack items. Overall, okay place, the pool (small oasis in a clutch of buildings), staff were nice, friendly & helpful, great location, close to beach & 10 minutes to the night market. This & being clean means we could stay again but hopefully in a better smelling room.
