It was super fast at the check-in only a few minutes, the reception prepared everything for us. The hotel looks quite old but very clean and quite well maintained. The room is also well prepared and cleaned, air-con a bit noisy but bearable. Breakfast could be better and keep up with the Accor's standard.

“Nice place close to the Koh Tao pier”

My wife and I stayed here many years ago so this was our 2nd visit. The hotel is not called Novotel these days. We checked in without a booking and the staff were all very friendly. We booked a standard king room and they gave us an upgrade. That was nice. My wife received 2 massages while she was there. The price was right and the service was excellent. The room itself was nice. Clean, comfortable, good internet, hot shower, plenty of storage, safe, comfortable bed. No complaints. The pool area is nice. They have a nice secure parking lot. Had breakfast and dinner there. The food was just average. The hotel could use a makeover. The problem it seems is that Chumpon is not a touristic area. The hotel had little business while we were there. They are 13 km from the pier that goes to Koh Tao. We would stay there again.

This hotel is fronting the beach hotel, golf course was closed when we were there! The room size is big and bed is very comfortable!!! Although the hotel is old but cleannesses is ok ! and also breakfast is good also !!! Value for money ! However the beach( public beach, just cross the road from hotel) is full of rubbish especially plastic bags/ bottles!!!

We stayed here en route to Phuket and were attracted by the Novotel brand and the promise of "beach and golf". The Novotel brand was well represented by the room, the restaurant, the pool and friendly staff. However, the golf course has been closed since 2021 and there is no plan to open it, whilst the beach is an utter disgrace - uncared for, dirty and a dumping ground for rubbish. The general area around the hotel is scruffy although it does offer some good seafood restaurants albeit very basic seating.

Booked here to break a long journey from Bangkok to Trang. The reason to booked here because it close to the beach however found out later that the the beach in front of the hotel not worst to travel to visit. Booked here to break a long journey from Bangkok to Trang. The reason to booked here because it close to the beach however found out later that the the beach in front of the hotel not worst to travel to visit. Can say that the hotel quite old and need attention for to cleanliness especially at restaurant area, not look nice. Room also in old condition but it quite clean and amenities set up quite good. Staffs are nice enough. Nicest upon checked in, okay for checked out but staffs at restaurant rarely smile or give a greeting. Breakfast just normal nothing special. Big area for car parking so no worry about no space for your car. PS. Mo Ko Chumphon National Park only 15 mins away from the hotel.
