This is everything you’d expect from The Hilton chain, including the cost of the rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely, and the views over the bay and the town are fantastic. This hotel is right in the centre of the city though, so if you don’t like the hustle and bustle of city life, steer clear. Also, if you venture out into the Main Street you’ll be hit with the undeniable stench of what smells like an open sewer, the frighteningly crazy motorcycle riders, and the over-friendliness of the ladies of the night. It’s an experience for sure. My only criticisms of the place would be the lack of vegetarian options at breakfast and the mattress in the room, which was past its sell by date. Overall though, a lovely hotel, 9/10 would stay again.

I have actually stayed here three times now, and was not sure after my last stay, that i would come back. I always travel with a group of staff so have a minimum of three/four rooms depending on the purpose of the trip and who i need to take with me. This trip, 3 rooms only but on the time b4 that, 6 rooms. Either way, i do not think that should be the only factor for the hotel to give you good service, everyone should have it regardless of the amount of rooms they have, i totally get that. This trip is for business again for me. I have been coming to Pattaya for th epast 30 years, to to sample the local ping pong shows as many do and i suspect think im here for, but for other business related matters. I am also a member of the hiltons loyalty membership and spend a lot of time on the road staying at hiltons all over the world. The staff at the Pattaya Hilton are mostly very nice. They also stay which is a good sign as many of the staff on both our previous visits are still here and remembered us, and the children. The rooms are clean and OK, but a little tired to be honest. Some flacking paints on the walls and they rush to clean them in the morning or should i say afternoon by the time they get to you. One thing i hate is leaving an hotel room at 8am or before that, and getting back mid/late afternoon and the room is still not done, Im like, i've been out all day and the moment i need to be back for my afternoon business meetings in the USA or UK, you want to clean the room! its really not on, especially when the light for "clean my room" is on, a big green light outside the front door which cannot be missed! It is lazy and causes an issue when you have meetings planned for the afternoon. The housekeeping is not good in this place. Im not sure what the issue is, but they do not seem as happy as the other staff, they look miserable and not interested in their job. The breakfast staff are pleasant and welcoming on the other hand. Again a lot of the same staff which is great, as you feel you are coming back to a friendly and happy place. The breakfast food however is not what it was a couple of years ago. It is bland and tasteless. We paid for a breakfast for the entire trip for the 7 people in the group, it is not cheap, quite expensive even when you prepay, but it is not worth the money. I would recommend not paying for breakfast, but getting it outside the hotel, there are a few lovely local new places you can eat for half the price but more than cost, the food is better. The eggs are overcooked, half the trys are empty and they do not fill it up fast enough to cope with the amount of people eating. The evening buffet at the Hilton Pattaya used to be the place to go for the best buffet in town. Now, it is the place to avoid. Pretty much the same as the breakfast to be honest with you. Cheap options at over the top prices and not replaced fast enough to cope. THE FOOD is second rate, and not as good as you can grab on walking street or one of the local places. The india selection is by far the worst selection in the local area with poorly made options and dried up onion barge, The other food options at the buffet are very very poor for the high cost of the food. Best part of it is the sushi but the rest of it, including the desert buffet, is a total joke and not worth the money. Go somewhere else yo will eat better. The chefs are not friendly at all, totally changed in the past two years thats for sure. They seem rushed and unhappy workers. My suggestion would be to replace them all, starting with your head chef who does not even do the walk around he used to do. even he looks miserable and unhappy. There is something going on in the kitchen and its not good. The swimming pool area is lovely. The staff team are great and they actually want to be there. They sell bar food, which is ok, but again nothing special. The reception staff are always pleasant and want to help, and the staff in the cafe by the reception are mostly, helpful and happy to help. Some again still here from our last trip so was nice to be greeted by them. All in all, i think the Hilton Pattaya is ok, but i also believe there are better options. I think i need to bite the bullet and when i return in Jan 2025, book in with the Hard rock down the road.

I had long hairs of previous guest in the shower, some stains & crumbs on the working desk, stained bathtub and a hair on the bathroom floor. Great location and very friendly staff but room cleanliness rather poor. I had long hairs of previous guest in the shower, some stains & crumbs on the working desk, stained bathtub and a hair on the bathroom floor. Furthermore a poor working desk condition (eg wood needs refurbishment). Connecting to the wifi is troublesome, you need to become HH member for comp option, ( didn’t recognize my phone number, so couldn’t create an account) and didn’t give a good first impression.l as it wasn’t convenient. Otherwise everything was good. I commented on cleanliness, they didn’t have an alternative room but the gentleman at the desk was very helpful. Received apologies amenities, although the room was still not fully clean, but I haven’t reported this further.
