“Spacious, welcoming and central.”
The grand Duangtawan Hotel is the real old tropics where for decades stylish visitors have come to stay. Twin huge curving staircases lead from the entrance to the mezzanine leaves the guest awed and the Marco Polo bar is rememiscient of when writers sat over cool drinks retelling their adventures.… more

“What else do you need?”
What else do you need.. good rooms comfortable beds and pillows with a good view..TV was good with All the right channels.. including ABC News Australia Bathroom was large enough even for 2 people Breakfast was pretty good.. just ask for some bacon near where you get eggs.. excellent coffee.. fru… more

The room was spacious, the bathroom large with lots of counter space, Chairs in the room were comfortable, two things prevented me from giving a 5 stars. One was the over firm mattress .
