Very nice place, big room in the city overall is good.Friendly staff at front desk , bakery shop was delicious. Easy to go to Banthadthong road for street food and famous restaurants here. This place located near Banthadthong , Siam area and among BTS( sky train) and MRT ( subway)

When I asked a hospitality industry colleague for his tips on a decent, comfortable hotel without the brand name price tag, he suggested The Twin Towers Hotel. Located on the major Rami IV Road in the Pathum Wan district, a few hundred metres from the Hua Lamphong railway station, once the main hub of the Thai rail network, the hotel is within walking distance of such landmarks at the MBK Shopping Centre and the Siam Fashion and shopping districts. If you don’t feel like walking, the hotel runs a cheap and easy shuttle service. Also nearby is the emerging foodie scene on Bangkok's Banthat Thong Road, just behind the National Stadium. This street is rapidly becoming a magnet for the ‘influencer’ crowd, who flock to the many cool eateries along the street. The Twin Towers, as the name suggests, comprises two large blocks that together comprise 660 rooms in six categories, starting at a whopping 38sqm. Yes, that’s nearly double the size of some of the new high-priced budget rooms at the big-name hotels. Feeling fancy? There are two deluxe suites (one in each tower) at 72sqm. Like so many properties worldwide, the hotel was closed during COVID and stayed closed for several months afterwards to complete extensive modernisations, which are immediately evident in the cavernous ground floor foyer. Some areas of the hotel are still to fully reopen, but otherwise the property is in full swing. The large main restaurant, the Gold Teak, on the ground floor sparkles with new fittings and furnishings and seats 300, while the fancier Fu Marn Lau on the 3rd floor seats 150. There’s a new bar, the 88, in the lobby with room for 40, and if you’re in a hurry, there is a quick bakery where you can snatch a tasty pastry and coffee on your way out. I went for an early lunch in the Gold Teak because I heard a tour group was coming, so I got the first go at the sumptuous spread laid out for them. Honestly, this was the most impressive spread. I'm not sure if it was especially for the tour group who came in later and stripped the plates bare or if they do this every day. To be upfront, you might find large tour groups using the hotel, and this makes perfect sense given the size of the property, but I didn’t find this too intrusive because there is just so much room at The Twin Towers. My room was 1610, a Superior Plus, next up from the entry-level Superior, and it was perfectly satisfactory for my three nights. The decor was not overly fancy, but I’d rather not have gaudy decorations, just a comfy bed and a clean and modern bathroom. All those boxes were ticked. While I didn’t use the spa, pool or gym, I did have a quick look and here again, the facilities are quite extensive. Overall, the hotel perfectly fitted my needs at the time, and I was grateful for a late check-out approval, which was made sweeter by an excellent rate.

“Outdated hotel style but good if you prefer spacious room with bathtub”

Hotel itself is quite an outdated style, however you will get a spacious clean and tidy room equiped with " bathtub " which I like it ♥️. A convenient store is next to the hotel. Local street foods are also available after sunset ( you may need to walk a bit ) MBK, shops and restaurants are also nearby within 10 mins by walking. Wifi is fair as it's always cut off.
