“Doubt it that we would return again!”

First time staying in this hotel. We needed a location that’s close to the impact exhibition area but our usual choices, Novotel Impact and Ibis were completely booked up. Lobby was really crowded with China Hotel Guests when we arrived. One good thing I could say is that the receptionist allowed us to check in an hour before check in time. Our room was just prepped right before. Housekeeping has forgotten to place some items, slippers, mineral water etc. Realized we were only given one keycard so I went down to request to another. I was told that there would be a 100baht charge on each lost card. Decided to have dinner at the lobby cafe. Food took pretty long to arrive but we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food is. Fitness center: Arrived 5:45am next morning at the gym and was denied entry as gym is only opened at 6am. I requested the receptionist to unlock the fitness center earlier as I needed to head out early. Of course the answer was a plain “NO”, no negotiation or request accepted. Next morning when I went to the gym, the counter desk asked me for a gym voucher. I was speechless! Never came across any hotels that needed vouchers for gym. I insisted on dealing with it after my exercise session. Fortunately, the lady at the desk was kind enough to get the voucher ready for me. Housekeeping: So tough to ask for extra towels and only realized later that there’s a price list on every single things. If anything was not as in original condition, we would be charged. Conclusion: If you are just looking for a hotel to sleep at night, this is ok. Breakfast is quite horrible, so don’t expect any good meals in the morning.
