“Sala Hotel”
We stayed three nights . We ate breakfast there and dinner. My biggest complaint is there was no elevator. We stayed three nights . We ate breakfast there and dinner. My biggest complaint is there was no elevator. The building is an older building that has been rehabbed.The rooms was clean and comfortable and had a wonderful view of the Wat across the river which was also lit up at night and was very beautiful. The food was very good for both breakfast and dinner. The staff was nice and helpful, and they helped with transportation arrangements. The hotel had a roof top terrace that had a lovely city view. You could order drinks and snacks. The hotel is very close to a large Wat that is open to the public for a fee and was worth the visit. The down side other than a lack of the elevator, it was located on a rather smelly street.

We had a romantic views and they surprised me with some gifts which made the evening even more special. "The food was great, nothing to complain about. The warm lighting creates a comfortable and intimate atmosphere." The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Sala Rattanakosin AMAZING restaurant by the Chao Praya river in Bangkok for dinner One of the best restaurants I have ever been to Don't be put off the TOTALLY UNIMPRESSIVE entrance, which is at the end of a short cul-de-sac (about 70 meter walk) Very well laid out restaurant on ground floor (small with bar) and a larger dining area on the 2nd floor - with a private room for a total of 12 persons Superb view of the river and the Wat Arun temple on the other side of the river. Amazing display of synchronized drone animations above the temple (about 20 different animations). Also, colorful tourist cruise boats floating by There is also a fireworks display a slight distance from the temple - but unfortunately, this was canceled during our visit to the restaurant Do check with the restaurant about the timings of the drone and firework displays There is a rooftop deck on the 5th floor (no elevator), which has 2 bars and superb views on all 4 sides. Great area to watch the drone animations and fireworks and temples Excellent food, service and views and very reasonable priced at $36 per person included a shared bottle of wine and some cocktails Toilets not upto par for such an amazing restaurant You will need to book a taxi from there to your hotel as empty taxis are quite rare on that road

I stayed for one night at Sala Rattanakosin before flying Samui, and it was an excellent choice! The hotel is incredibly convenient, with easy access to everything —MRT, the pier, and so many attractions. I took a boat to Wang Luang, which was just a quick 5-minute ride from the pier, and the hotel’s location near the Grand Palace made it perfect for exploring. There are also plenty of famous food stalls nearby, making it a foodie’s paradise! I stayed in a room with a breathtaking view of the palace—it was absolutely stunning. Amanda, the Hotel Manager, took great care of me, and the staff were always smiling and eager to help. Breakfast was perfect, and their support when I asked for directions was fantastic. I truly love this hotel and will definitely return whenever I plan a shopping trip in Bangkok. Highly recommended!
