“Lost the plot”
This is not an average hotel but there is such a mix of good and bad that it works out that way overall. The location is near Nana Plaza but not so near as to get the noise. This is not an average hotel but there is such a mix of good and bad that it works out that way overall. The location is near Nana Plaza but not so near as to get the noise. There's a notice at the desk saying it's OK to take a girl to your room. The hotel has a rather grand colonial style (Indian?) but slightly fraying round the edges. My room had a nice parquet floor but looking a bit dusty into the edges and corners. The bathroom had strange floor tiles designed to look like there was a dirty mark and there was a constant accumulation of water between the toilet and the shower screen. There was good storage space. The bed must have been 2m wide but the headboards were intended for twin beds. The Aircon could have been more effective but at least it didn't leave me feeling cold. My biggest gripe was water. At first I thought there wasn't even a fridge but it was hidden in the unit supporting the TV. It was empty. It turns out you have to get water from the dispenser on the corridor opposite the lift, but the water wasn't even chilled. There's a notice in the room saying they will bring you two bottles of water if you leave them a Google review. I think playing games with an essential commodity is disgraceful and shows they have lost the plot. One star deducted.
