“Hotel Home”
Grand Hotel with big rooms, conveniently located in Sukhumvit. Good Breakfast. Swimming pool. Hotel is secure and quiet, Rooms had a good view of society. The hotel attracts people from all over the world. Room service is reasonably priced

“Spacious rooms, bad bathroom fittings, limited breakfast ”
The rooms are spacious but the bathroom fittings are bad and leaky. They do not provide lotion or iron in the room. Breakfast has limited options. Even less for vegetarians. “Large hotel for large group on Soi 5 ”
It's a bit of an old splendour hotel which needs revamping although when it is completed it will probably join the other overpriced hotels in the Sukhumvit area. My room was very large on the 23 floor. Everything is so old but ok for me. It's just designed for tour groups.

“Not Royal at all..!”
This was a forlorn somewhat dowdy hotel that has definitely seen better days... In the 4 days that I stayed I only saw a couple of other guests...so it was a little strange that such a huge hotel was so sparsely occupied..perhaps they only have one floor functional.. This was a forlorn somewhat dowdy hotel that has definitely seen better days... In the 4 days that I stayed I only saw a couple of other guests...so it was a little strange that such a huge hotel was so sparsely occupied..perhaps they only have one floor functional.. Anyway staff is below par to other hotels of similar standard...They have no information whatsoever about local transportation etc and can only recommend the local taxi exorbitant tourist trap taxi mafia . The booking page mentions a shuttle. But that is a lie. They don't have one.The room was so dimly lit that I couldn't even see the contents of my suitcase ! On the upside the staff when called upon was quick to respond .And rooms and bathrooms are really large and very clean.. I didn't get my wake up call however so take care. Housekeeping is very good. The hotel advertises the nextdoor Milky way massage ...but never go there ..it was by far the worst massage I have had in 4 decades of Thailand trips...In Bangkok you are spoilt for choice...so don't stay here...stay elsewhere
