An old favourite of mine and a good value budget guest house. Located in the heart of soi Rambuttri and good for staying a few nights of you are in the area or want to visit Khao San road. Staff here are always excellent and very efficient at checking you in. The rooms are fairly basic, but good value none the less. People do come and go at all hours, so maybe with bringing earplugs of you are a light sleeper! A great location to explore the sights of Bangkok or to go on a river cruise.

• Buffet breakfast with lots to choose from. • The room was pleasant, but the bathroom tended to hold water after a shower, leaving the floor constantly wet. • walking distance to the food market specially the Kaosan night market with lots of local food. • service was excellent, welcoming, and they always greet with a smile. • very nice pool kids friendly!! • 飯店自助早餐，菜色有很多可供選擇。 •房間很舒適，但淋浴間未做乾濕分離，使沐浴後浴室地板潮溼。 •步行即可到達當地市場，還有熱鬧考山夜市，有很多當地食物可做選擇。 •服務很好，很熱情，他們總是面帶微笑地打招呼。 •頂樓非常好的游泳池，很悠閒時光！！

19-22 February 2024 Room F201 We’ve stayed here previously and love the location, so we booked again. Our room on the first floor (only 1 flight of stairs or you can take the lift) was above the bar, but not noisy at night. You can hear the tuktuk drivers first thing in the morning though. Kettle and some coffee/tea sachets. Water provided. TV and DVD (very retro!). Desk area and chair. There is a safe and a hairdryer. Fridge. Space to hang clothes and a few hangers. Air con works well. Limited toiletries. Only 2 towels in the bathroom. No hand towels. They don’t have all the facilities as listed on their website - not a massive issue but they should consider updating their website to reflect what facilities they do have. Rooftop pool is nice. Pool towels not provided and the wooden sun loungers do not have a mattress. There are plenty of them in the shade or full sun. There is also a vending machine that sells cold beer! WiFi is annoying, you have to log in every time you want to use it and then it kicks you off over and over again, definitely not high speed. We didn’t include breakfast in our reservation, you can pay if you want to eat there, but there are so many places to eat along Rambuttri. My husband had a very good teriyaki chicken dish in the restaurant, but we both agreed the burgers were the worst we’d had (6-weeks in Asia and we needed something other than noodles). The front seating in the bar, looking out on Rambuttri is a great place to sit with a beer and people watch and there is a street food vendor immediately opposite cooking up the most amazing food. Overall, another pleasant stay, but I can’t help but feel this place has lost some of its charm, so it’s unlikely we will stay here again, but the area remains wonderful.
