We arrived at the hotel, and to be honest, initially thought it was soulless. You come in from the street and have to go up a level as the hotel is attached to the MBK Shopping Center. However, we went from reception to our room (1409) Wow. It was beautiful. We had a one bedroom suite which was huge. More importantly it was spotless. It was furnished beautifully. We had a sofa bed in the living area, and had to ask reception if we could have it made up, even though this had been requested when the hotel was booked. No drama as they got it made up. There was a slight problem with a window, and a break down in communication caused me a slight headache. That said, it was sorted and although it took a bit longer than it should’ve done, it was fixed. The only thing that let me down in this hotel was the breakfast. I understand they are catering for hundreds of guests, but the hot food was tepid at best. Being right in top of the MBK was handy, and you’re a short walk to the train station. Don’t be afraid to ask the concierge questions as they were really helpful.

The staff and management are superb ! Incredibly professional and outstanding! Especially applause must go to Ms Ben! 🌹 Lovely and friendliest lady. 🙏🙏🙏 The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Bangkok, with direct access to MBK Center and within walking distance of Siam Paragon and other major shopping hubs. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and elegantly designed, offering breathtaking city views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The hotel’s amenities were top-tier, from the stunning outdoor pool with panoramic city views to the well-equipped fitness center and luxurious spa. Dining at the hotel was also a highlight—the breakfast buffet had an amazing selection of both Thai and international cuisine. You see many hardworking staff even trainee like Mr Hector, serve all the guests with patience and the on-site restaurants provided delicious meals with excellent service. The executive lounge is one of our favourite place to hang out. The staff are friendly, helpful and initiated. Staff like Mr Tee and several others commendable. Every aspect of my stay was perfect, and I can’t wait to return. Whether you’re in Bangkok for business or leisure, Pathumwan Princess Hotel is the ideal place to stay!”

We never compromise when selecting our hotel rooms. We always ensure a prime location, spacious layout, and top-tier safety for our peace of mind. A big thank you to Princess Hotel. My boys loved their kids’ table, PS5, and kiddie robes! Special thanks to our butler for always being just a text away whenever we needed anything. Our hotel is directly connected to MBK, that is also connected to Siam Center and Siam Paragon. Location, cleanliness, and hotel food is 10/10.

“A 4.9 Star Hotel”

We stayed here on our third trip to Bangkok a couple of weeks ago and it was just OK, nothing special. Google Maps isn't the best for directions to here. Get the BTS to National Stadium and then head down the stairs, across the raised area and into the MBK Centre. Walk all the way through it on that level and there is an entrance into the reception floor of the hotel. (During that walk you will pass a couple of money changing booths in the centre, these both offer very good exchange rates.) We have no complaints about the staff or the room as such, it was just OK. If you're having breakfast it is again, just OK, but very chaotic and busy if you have a lie-in. Good luck finding the tea if you fancy a cuppa. The pool was great if a little bit of a strange layout. As it is in Bangkok it is very hot and humid on the pool deck area. Outside of the hotel there isn't a great deal going on and we had to travel to other areas of Bangkok for things to do. For this reason we wouldn't choose to stay here again. The location might look pretty central but, due to the light rail system coverage, this is right on the edge of the busy bits of Bangkok and you can't easily walk to much.
