“Mr Takayuki is really great!”
Everything is extremely nice!! All the staffs are really nice and warm!! The manager Mr Takayuki is really helpful and always gives us a warm and comfortable welcome!! Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a warm and good place to stay in right central of Bangkok.

“Old world charm with excellent service”
Very friendly helpful staff. Big rooms and loved the lounge. Centrally located with old charm rooms. Very well maintained despite being a bit old property. Wonderful to spend a few days with a homely feeling after being in conference hotel.

“Good location but not clean enough”
This is my second time stay in the Oakwood Residence. It located just about 5 minutes walk from the Prome Phong BTS. Malls, restaurants and spa all in walking distance. I stayed in the Studio Executive room for three nights. The room has a full kitchen and a washing machine. Overall a nice stay but… more
This is my second time stay in the Oakwood Residence. It located just about 5 minutes walk from the Prome Phong BTS. Malls, restaurants and spa all in walking distance. I stayed in the Studio Executive room for three nights. The room has a full kitchen and a washing machine. Overall a nice stay but I found a body hair on the toilet seat when I checked in. Apparently it was not cleaned before a guest check in. It really made me uncomfortable. That's why I only give a three stars.

“Good location but bring your own soap, shampoo & bedroom slippers.”
The good: we got upgraded to a suite (3 classes above what we booked) without us even asking (probably cuz my husband is a gold member of Ascott Star Rewards (we stay at many of their hotels). Its huge, aircon is super powerful and it’s pretty central (a couple of blocks behind Emporium). But furni… more
The good: we got upgraded to a suite (3 classes above what we booked) without us even asking (probably cuz my husband is a gold member of Ascott Star Rewards (we stay at many of their hotels). Its huge, aircon is super powerful and it’s pretty central (a couple of blocks behind Emporium). But furniture & fittings are dated (which is ok), the shower is fitted in a way that wets half the bathroom floor even with the door closed & mat used, the shower gel & hair products come in vials so tiny that they lasted only a day & this is not a big deal but it’s surprising in Thailand when a hotel doesn’t provide in-room slippers. Oh, cab drivers don’t know it so you have to tell them it’s next to Hilton. But for the location & price point, it’s a go.
