“Consider the location.”

Firstly consider the location this is not really in a tourist area, the hotel offers all you may expect providing you are not expecting to walk a short distance for the normal requirements. Firstly consider the location this is not really in a tourist area, the hotel offers all you may expect providing you are not expecting to walk a short distance for the normal requirements. There is a very large convenience store off the lobby and a few close by (expensive) massage parlors but that is about it. The BTS is about 1 kilometer but they do have a shuttle at set times. The rooms are great, breakfast was as good as it gets in this type of hotel. The pool area is a bit tired and smaller than expected but serves the purpose for a cool off. If the area suits then I highly recommend the hotel for a short stay.

Jasmine grande residence’s review Both good and bad. The hotel lays around a 15 min walk from the Phra Khnong BTS Station, being quite close to the calm parts of the city, 8 stops away from the city centre. We stayed throughout the whole June of 2024, and it was a nice experience, although some things were less than expected. Location It was quite a 10 minute walk to Big C food place, and there wasn’t a night market around the area, and please don’t go to the night market to eat. You will be paying a lot of money for half of what you will get. Facilities The facilities overall was less of the quality then in the picture. I really hope the hotel have provided the rooms with a CAD room plan, enough for everyone to understand, and not just see photos taken at the furthest distance to make the room look big. Yes they could edit the photos, yes they could take photos professionally with great quality, but don’t manipulate everyone to make them look like the room was too big. It wasn’t small. But it wasn’t big enough for the price in such a city and such an area. The bed sheets were really thin, which seems to be used for quite a while. The refrigerator was nice, a full refrigerator although it was quite old. The kitchenette was equipped with a pan, some cutlery and some other tools although it wasn’t enough. We end up getting a rice cooker, and some pots and a ladle too. The smell if the room wasn’t cleaned for more than 2 days would be drastically bad. And the trash bin. If you live there, you surely aren’t going to be living alone, and thus such a bin used for both recyclable and general waste would be inadequate. I hated when the bin overflows and we would have to throw rubbish beside, especially if its about meat. The hotel food It wasn’t that good. You have to pay taxes and service charges for literally bad food. It shouldn’t be called as Hotel Food. Nevertheless The staff Everyone was helpful with the stay, especially the house keeping staff. The one in charge of cleaning our room for the whole month, “Khaing Khaing” and her fellow mates worked well, leaving such a pleasant and clean room every time we left, even though we couldn’t have provided enough tip for such exquisite service. The room was clean, not a single stain was left uncleaned, no dust was left nor the bathroom was watery. She was very polite and helpful while most people there would be saying they don’t know or they would just not care about whatever you say. The pool The pool wasn’t as magnificent as the picture seems, and some of the drain was quite broken and leaking. If there are tour groups or families, and if they flocked into the pool, there was no space for us. Sometimes they would be there for the whole evening. The Electricity and Water Bill One of the very things people won’t be looking at would be how much the price of the electricity and water will be. No matter who you ask in the hotel, you would literally get no answer. They would be answering something like, “It depends on the person and how you use it.” Yes its true but they could have given an estimate of something like, the average couple of two person living in such a summer like this would have the air con, the lights, the jacuzzi turned on, and maybe watching TV, cooking and doing all these kinds of things which would round up to around a 5000 Baht for the whole month, or something like that. What happened was we had literally no idea how much things will cost, nor how to calculate and thus end up really taking care of reducing the electricity usage. Who knows it could go all the way up to 10000 Baht(£200+), or more and I won’t want to pay such amounts for opening some air con. The Deposit One of the worst experience I have faced so far in the whole hotel experience was asking back the deposit. Don’t worry guys you will have to pay the one-month deposit in advance. If the room’s long stay price is 40000 Baht for the whole month, you will have to pay another 40000 Baht as the deposit, so it will be 80000 Baht on the start of your stay. As someone who wasn’t going to spend recklessly on unknown hotel bills, I called the reception and asked for when I will receive my deposit back. After several calls, the receptionist girl was quite impatient, although she helped me afterwards. I felt like I’m literally asking someone else money, and it was quite hard for them to pay it back. After adding the electricity bill, which was around 4000 Baht, and the water bill which was around 1000 Baht, the unknown bill was 5000 Baht. And if you chose to stay for an additional day or an additional guest, its around 2000 Baht per day, depending on the room you choose. And something you’ll face is by the start of the stay, someone will come in to your room and ask a signature for a list of everything, literally everything in the room from lotion bottles, cutlery bags, and tissue boxes all the way up to your sofas and bed sheets. Everything’s price was doubled. Something that cost 1000 outside will be listed as 2000. And everything was really old. They say the hotel was sustainable but you can’t just provide some sofas made with bamboo, or remove bathrooms essentials and state that your hotel is sustainable. Sometimes, we might want to not open the air con all day and leave the windows open, but the circulation was not enough. You either put something to stop the door from closing since the plastic door connecting the balcony and the bathroom doesn’t have a door stopper, or you suffer from such smell. The way the room was built, and everything is placed should be managed better than this.
