“Good staff”

Very good staff. However, the rates are increasing excessively. Location is good because close to subway and 10 minutes by walking to a very nice and big new shopping centre

I tend to stay at the Ibis Sathorn between 3 and 6 times each year. The staff are, without exception, very pleasant and helpful, the rooms are clean and functional and the breakfast is good. I tend to stay at the Ibis Sathorn between 3 and 6 times each year. The staff are, without exception, very pleasant and helpful, the rooms are clean and functional and the breakfast is good. In addition, it provides a nice bar area with indoor and outdoor seating. The bar staff, Aoithip and Juthamart, as well as providing excellent service, are very helpful, managing to establish friendly relationships with customers which helps to generate good patronage from people staying at the hotel. The local area benefits from fairly quiet Soi's which contain a good selection of restaurants and bars for those that wish to venture out. The hotel operates a buggy that goes to Sala Daeng BTS, but the hotel is only 600 metres from Lumpini MRT (Blue Line). Finally, even though prices have risen slightly recently, it is relatively inexpensive for Bangkok and provides very good value for money.

“Too crowded, showing signs of tear and wear everywhere”

Not really a good option anymore. This hotel was okay at 25€ , now at 54€ it’s chronically overpriced.New staff not the brightest. The food at breakfast is warm and for an ibis of excellent quality, even the croissants taste like croissants. Well done , from there onwards all is just mediocre the o bad. The place needs better maintenance, clear signs of Overtourism. Suitcases in the computer corner and everywhere else. I won’t come back and correct my 4 Stars from last year to 2. It’s sooo crowded and Chinese mainlanders smoking in the room! Hotel did not do one thing about it. New staff quite incompetent. . The streets in front are mega dangerous since there aren’t any sidewalks at all. The main issue was that there is no outlet near the bed ,just 1 usb . Who does that? Well, if you can’t afford anything more just stay on your balcony, and I mean this cordially.
