During check in we were surprised with 2000THB deposit. Initially, the receptionist asked for a passport deposit instead. Good thing that they allowed us to just leave an ID. The room is ok. the floor is not so clean. on our second day, we were provided with a duvet cover that has issues ( please see picture). We were afraid that we may be charged for it. Thankfully no charges incurred and it was changed the following day. Breakfast is great. Better than the previous 5 star hotel we were initially accommodated. Helpful staff. They were able to prepare our packed breakfast because we had to leave at 4AM. No provided bedroom slippers. I just hope they clean the floor well and better. All our requests upon booking were delivered. overall, still a good place to stay because of its proximity to BTS train, delicious breakfast and helpful staff.

“Very much to BTS and great pool view”
Just 2 mins from Chongnonsi BTS. Many eating places around. Room is not new, but everything still fine. Bathroom is not modern type, but still acceptable. Not toothbrush set provided. In room only have 2 mineral water and coffee only. Have a mini fridge. Safe is small and not able to fit in laptop.… more

In room only have 2 mineral water and coffee only. Have a mini fridge. Safe is small and not able to fit in laptop. TV is Thai channels only. Sofa is new. Staff is friendly. Check-in is at 2pm, but I was waiting there around 1pm++ and the reception offer room to me once the room is done. Hotel required THB1000 in cash as deposit. Pool is nice, water is clean and great view.

Hotel is good value for money. Positives: 1. Right next to BTS stations 2. Good breakfast Negatives: 1. They gave us only 3 beds even though we were 4 people. When questioned the rude staff at night said that's against our policy to put 4 beds in a room (even though there was space. If that's the case, why was I allowed to book that room for 4 people ? I don't know whether to blame it on hotel or Agoda. Anyways, I wish the staff was a bit more respectful.

I-residence Silom is always my first choice of stay since 2015. However, my latest stay there made me wonder if their service standard is declining, and we hope it is just a one time off incident. My friends and I, total 3 of us, reached the lobby at roughly 6pm on a weekday, and we were told that they did not have our booking records despite showing the confirmation email to them. The staff at the counter were already getting flustered as they searched their booking records repeatedly to no avail. We were left hanging for about 10 minutes in the lobby after our flight and Taxi Ride, so to better utilize our time and reduce tempers, my friend (who happens to work in hospitality) told the front office staff that we will be out for dinner, we will be back at 10pm, please look after our bags. All this was resolved when we gotten back a little past 10pm, and so they claimed they had not gotten our booking email, thus their in-house booking records were not properly updated. From what I understand, most if not all modern day reservations systems should automatically push the reservation from the website into the system, and not have a person look through the email and manually transfer the booking information into the rooms reservations system. We had to wait about another 10 minutes in the lobby after we gotten back from dinner as they were still tidying up the room. We had the room apparently at the last minute, and inspected it shortly that they did not clear the dustbin (with condom box and its sachets included) used by previous occupants. For the past one week, housekeeping had been inconsistent. They either did not replenish toilet paper (literally only toilet roll itself left), ensure sufficient number of towels or water bottles (can be verified by the number of beds). On our last night after their housekeeping in the day, we were not given a single piece of small and big towel. We went to the reception and told the staff. Instead of checking first the number of guests in the room, we were thrown with their policy of maximum 2 towels for each room. After telling them, we still only got our big towels without the small ones. The whole experience from not checking our reservation email in the past 5 months, to inconsistent housekeeping to slapping their policy on us without verification do not leave a tinge of service recovery. Definitely we don’t expect a 5-star service, but these are basic taboos not to be experienced by hotel guests.
