This was my second visit in May and it didn’t disappoint. The front desk and lobby staff are always welcoming whatever the time of day. Both times I occupied a premier suite in the main tower, which was well appointed and clean. Housekeeping service will endeavour to cater for any request and are efficient. I only ate breakfast in the hotel. This was in their main restaurant. A comprehensive hot and cold buffet. Friendly staff were on hand to assist and provide your choice of hot beverage. My main impressions were the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff from middle management down. This was truly a home from home experience, which is important when travelling solo whether business or pleasure. A special thank you to ‘Yo Yo’, who was behind the Concierge desk. He provided an anchor point for advice and information.

“Beautiful hotel that exceeded expectations”

Beautiful hotel one would expect at a higher price point but at a great value. Excellent service, room service good, happy hours, pool, lovely room and outstanding service at every level. The Concierge Kornphat (YoYo) even helped me print a couple of things. Fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

I love this city and the hotel Big thanks for mister Yo Yo he helped me to plan my day and advised how to reach flower market and the grand palace. Other stuff is also very friendly. Fully recommend staying here and ofc visiting bangkok. Food is also very delicious.

Almost everything about our stay on the Executive floor was very good, and it was good to be back now the Executive Lounge has been reopened following the pandemic hiatus. Staff at the hotel as ever are excellent, and our room spotlessly clean, possibly recently refurbished. We have been staying at this hotel for over 25 years, and always enjoy our visits. The hotel represents very good value for money in a good location. Having said that that, this time we experienced two disappointments. . Firstly, a breakfast buffet is no longer available in the Exec Lounge, and guests in the Premium rooms are directed to the main restaurant on the Lobby Level for breakfast. This restaurant is very busy, and quite noisy, and while the assortment of food available is good, we much prefer the tranquil atmosphere of the Lounge at breakfast, even with a more limited selection of food. Second, Vesak day occurred during our stay, and alcoholic beverages were only available on room service. We very much enjoy the evening canapé selection in the Lounge, and expected to be able to take an assortment back to our room (30 m from the Lounge) to enjoy with a bottle of wine in lieu of the drinks usually served in the Lounge. Sadly, the Lounge manager would not allow us to do so. This lack of flexibility was disappointing. One last point. The rooms seem to have been equipped with new light controls and switches. Each switch incorporates a small blue LED light, which glow very brightly in the dark. In addition to the red lights on the TV and white lights on the wall mounted air conditioning control unit, I counted 15 glowing lights which lit up the room very effectively during the night and were not conducive to a good sleep! We rectified the problem with sticky tape and cardboard masking, so if you are a light sleeper, I recommend taking a roll of tape with you to cover these lights. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and these issues above are relatively minor. We will return to this hotel when the Lounge breakfast is reinstated, and will continue to recommend it to friends. It still represents very good value for money and the staff are excellent.
