First, this hotel has a great location just a short walk to both the BTS Asoke and the Sukhumvit MRT stations, making it easy to get to virtually anywhere in Bangkok and avoid this city’s frustratingly horrendous traffic. I arrived early in the morning, and although my room was understandably not yet ready, I was granted access to the gym and spa while waiting for my room. The gym is on the small side for a hotel of this class, but it did have a good variety of equipment. While most of the equipment was outdated, it was well maintained, except one of the four non-functional treadmills. The men’s spa was well equipped with a sauna, steam, and Jacuzzi. (I did not visit the ladies’ spa). My Executive King Room was available by 12 noon. The room was large and comfortable, although it was somewhat worn and dated. My only major complaint about the room was that it included a small round table with a dining chair instead of a preferable desk and ergonomic chair. The dining chair was uncomfortable after about 20 minutes or so. The Wi-Fi was fast and supported video streaming. Executive Room guests have access to the Executive Lounge which offers breakfast and nightly Happy Hour to both Executive Room guests and Hilton Diamond members. Breakfast in the Executive Lounge is often much less crowded when compared to the breakfast buffet in the main restaurant but appears to lack at least some of the variety offered in the main restaurant. Happy Hour in the Executive Lounge is 5PM – 7PM nightly and includes a variety of appetizers and drinks. Service in the Executive Lounge was excellent, as the staff was extremely polite and professional. The breakfast buffet was average in both quality and variety compared to what is offered at other 4-star hotels in Bangkok, although it falls short of the breakfast buffet offered at the Hilton Sukhumvit. While this hotel has an excellent location, very good staff, average breakfast and large rooms, the common areas and recreational facilities, and to a lesser extent, the rooms, need renovation. If you are a Hilton member, the Hilton Sukhumvit is a better choice and also in a good location. This hotel is recommended because it offers a good product and its low rates make it a good value, however, it does not warrant more than a 4-star rating because there are better options available in Bangkok in this category. With that said, I do look forward to staying at this hotel again in the future upon completion of its upcoming extensive renovation project.

“Great location, big rooms”

Hard to beat the location and size of the rooms, plus the staff is very friendly, want to recognize Joy at breakfast , sweetest thing ever. If this is your first time in Bkk hard to beat the value for money, I had specific house keeping needs and they were able to accommodate.
