“Great value, large room and bathrom”
Although it's a few minutes walk to the MRT underground, the very good value price makes it worth it. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are huge. Good showers too. Comfortable bed, views across the city, and a rooftop bar for a nightcap. Great value!

The location is a bit far from the capital. The design room is modern and spacious which is good. The bad thing in here are the reception is not welcome, they will ignore you for your request, even frowning at you. Thats not a good attitude. They don't provided toothbrush, you need to asked them. The location is a bit far from the capital. The design room is modern and spacious which is good. The bad thing in here are the reception is not welcome, they will ignore you for your request, even frowning at you. Thats not a good attitude. They don't provided toothbrush, you need to asked them. And the deposit money is very high 2,000 THB. The standard is 500 THB. If you dont have that much spare then how? Too bad the room is nice, but the staff are not friendly. They hardly smile to the guest.

“OK Hotel”
The location of the HI Residence is not great. The walk to the MRT or to the shops is not pleasant along the busy road and there are few restaurants nearby. The rooftop bar is lovely with fabulous views but the food was bland which was unexpected given the beautiful spicy Thai food served elsewhere… more
The location of the HI Residence is not great. The walk to the MRT or to the shops is not pleasant along the busy road and there are few restaurants nearby. The rooftop bar is lovely with fabulous views but the food was bland which was unexpected given the beautiful spicy Thai food served elsewhere. The room was OK, of reasonable size as was the bathroom. There was mould in the bathroom however, but we realise it’s difficult in a tropical climate to keep on top of this! The air-con in the room also didn’t work well, it was 28 degrees celsius in the room overnight which was uncomfortably warm. The pool was under maintenance during our visit. There is a step into the room from the corridor which isn’t great for people with mobility issues. The staff were professional. I’d stay in a better location next time.
