“Great Location with Great Concierge Staff”
I have been staying at the Grand President for 10 years. It has a great location in the middle of Soi 11's action zone. It is close to the BTS and many bars and restaurants and many things to do and see. It has a great concierge staff. Mr Ton Pattiwat is a fantastic resource and a great concierge. He has been helping me for many years. I look forward to seeing him every year.

Amazing location right in the centre of all the action. No need to get a taxi or public transport to go anywhere for nightlife. Plenty of bars, restaurants and nightlife to suit all tastes and budges within a 5 minute walk. Hotel has an outdoor pool on the 5th floor. Rooms are standard but clean. Bed very comfortable and really needed the air con. No noise considering the amount of activity outside. Would definitely return.

This has been a long standing hotel for some time but with totally dysfunctional furniture and a lay out of the rooms less than optimal. Like his sister property the Aria Hotel by the same Hotel Group Kingston, the Grand president is apparently undergoing major renovations next month. It’s about time as there was so much space wasted along with so much furniture you would never used like a row of cupboards ect.. I was upgraded to a king suite which was lovely and brought fond memories. The staff was great as always. Looking forward to the new Grand Hotel.

The location is what you need in Bangkok for short stay and if you are an out person. In a touristic area at least. Safe area, lot of opportunities for shopping, eating and party around. Very close train-metro station. As staying, it is a decent hotel, clean, with friendly staff. Rooms are clean but with old furniture -undisturbing, but still. Bedsheets were broken even if the room were prepared for check-in. After calling at Reception were changed. Bathroom is pretty small but enough for unpretentious. Trying to call for room service can be challenging as they serve two hotels so will take pretty long time and prices are four times more than in front of the hotel at a simple grocery. Otherweise, staff is very helpful, friendly and opened to help. Can be an option, just in case, why not.
