What a lovely friendly hotel, very comfortable and homely,I took the 80m2 Suite and it was just so perfect, everything worked so well, the room was serviced in an efficient and discreet manner, the air con. was faultless, all very clean ,super comfortable bed and all very nicely furnished.Maybe not to everyones tastes and I have heard people say it was an “old”hotel, well it suited me far more than some bland global chain.I remember staying at the old Dusit on Lumpini park years ago and again a bit old ,but oh my did everything work just so beautifully, just like this place. It will certainly be my preferred hotel the next time I am in Bangkok. If you want comfort and exceptional value for money, book the 80m.2 suite, and treat yourself.

“Old world charm, totally relaxing!”
Absolutely delightful! I’ll start with the one negative… the carpets in the rooms desperately need replacing. While ‘clean’ in the sense of having been vacuumed, they are stained. Absolutely delightful! I’ll start with the one negative… the carpets in the rooms desperately need replacing. While ‘clean’ in the sense of having been vacuumed, they are stained. Not a major issue for me however. So, for the positives. This is ‘old skool’ grandeur… think 1980s/90s (the hotel was built in 1993 I think). Lots of teal green and gold (brass). Opulent fittings and fixtures in the main public areas… huge chandeliers, polished marble floors, heavy furniture. And the rooms are the same… lots of space, deep bath, separate (and huge) walk-in shower, Japanese style toilets. The bed! So comfortable. The pillows! Divine! Blackout curtains that were 100% effective. Lots of good lighting. Flat screen tv. Air conditioning worked fine, maintaining around 21-22 degrees C. Loved the old style housekeeping where the service cart is in the hallway most of the day, so you can request your room to be tidied next, or simply drop by for something small like a towel to be replaced, or get more water. Slippers and bathrobes are provided. The pool is not huge, but perfectly fine. In the afternoon it is shaded, so you can escape the direct sun on hot Bangkok days. There’s also a gym which I saw 1-2 people using each time I passed by. While 1990s decor may not suit everyone… the service from the staff matched the era. Everyone greeted you. Nothing was too much trouble. And the best bit? Restaurant prices were very affordable. A delicious three-course meal - including Thai and Western dishes - sets you back around USD15 (per person, excluding drinks). You pay that for a small appetiser at most of the major chain hotels! Now obviously there are better and restaurants outside, but it was lovely on some days when you just wanted to relax to be able to go downstairs, eat what you wanted, and not have to look at the prices! I see many of the previous reviews echo my sentiments. And rightly so. For the price - and this review gets its 5 stars because of that - this hotel punches *way* above its weight. I don’t believe you can book directly with the hotel, so you’ll need to use an online booking portal like tripadvisor, agoda or similar. During the booking process I noticed they now have ‘single’ rooms available. These are more modern, with wooden floors, and are contained in the new wing of the hotel. They appear to have a shower only, no bath. My review is based on a deluxe double/king room, in the original wing.

“Centro città”
This hotel located in central position is quiet with a swimmingpool and a Spa .Easily you’re in all the interesting point. The food is chinese but good .The only problem is the WiFi that always is out of connection. The rooms are spaced and confortable.Breakfast buffet is various and good taste.
