“Cosy & stylish...a boutique hotel in Bangkok!”

It is in a good area, very close to the sky train. They serve breakfast only in the room. Just a bit difficult for me to get in there, because it is located behind the corner, a bit hidden and no signal is displayed. If you look for a comfortable "nest" in Bangkok... this is the right place for you! A bit expensive (compared to other accommodation in Bangkok) but deserves.

We visited the one in the City, next to the Bleu Elephant (restaurant & cooking school) and close to Silom and Silom MRT. The hotel only has 3 rooms, all nicely decorated with private bathrooms. Lovely breakfast is served in your room. Especially the room upstairs with the balcony is a really nice one! The hotel is a bit hard to find as you need to drive into a small alley where a door in a wall hides the little hotel so ensure you bring the map and hotel contact details for your taxi driver Hotel staff do not speak a lot of English but they are very friendly, always willing to help

This was our first stay at ibrick hotel in the City. Bangkok is a familiar city to us, and we felt generally the stay was delightful with some slight misigivings. We stayed for three nights in the ground floor emerald room. What was great: -huge bedroom and bathroom -wooden bathtub with rain shower was delightful -decent enough breakfast menu which also serves as a sharp morning wakeup call (you have to tell them the previous day what time your breakfast) -extremely well connected -sarasok BTS is right outside-using the train system avoids the highly congested city roads AND its two stops away from the nearest Chao Praya pier which will take you down the river system. The BTS and the riverboats system pretty much take you everywhere covering the east and west parts of the city respectively What was not great: -no taxi driver would have heard of this hotel, what with only thre rooms and tucked away behind big buildings. I highly suggest that you print out a copy of the location map in thai to show to the driver. You will not see it from the main road, and to access it you have to turn left into a driveway leading to the carpark of King Royal Garden Inn, and then walk a few feet further to the hotel which will stand out clearly given its size and relatively new whitewash. The prominent landmarks are: Sarasok BTS is a min walk out, its next to the famous (and fabulous) Blue Elephant School and Restaurant http://www.ibrikresort.com/city/location.html http://www.ibrikresort.com/city/map-print.html -our cab driver didn't know the place - so we tried ringing up the resort for 15 minutes but could not get through. eventually we realized, and do be careful here of the numbers on their website: Tel. ([--] --> this is the "boss' office number", and no one picked up Fax. [--] --> the reception picked up this number, even though its a fax. Out of sheer desperation, we rang the fax number and got through ! -bed queen sized was a bit stiff -no toothpaste -rain shower could be stronger -you could hear the guests upstairs walking around, so the ceiling and floor boards were not thick enough -english channeled cable tv was very limited: about 2 or 3 only -credit cards while advertised to be accepted and used for making the online deposit could not be used to pay on checking out. A rather weathered sign taped on the reception desk that apologises for the credit card machine being malfunctioned. Again, overall a delight, and we would stay there again. Its within a 10 min walk from our favourite health/spa place -HealthLand !
