“Cheap and cheerful but noisy from road outside”
Pros- easy access to underground to get around the city * aircon was lovely and cool * lovely, friendly receptionist who spoke good English and was able to advise on underground etc * clean and tidy room Cons- room was noisy with road next door and noise continued all night with cars and buses go… more

> Purpose of trip: Family Vacation - group of 4 > Location: Can be a bit far from the main city center, but everything is definitely a taxi away. There was a train station nearby, though - just walking distance from the hotel. The most convenient part is, 7/11 is beside the hotel. > Amenities: The breakfast inclusion wasn't worth it, with just 2 types of food to choose from. The water refill in the lobby was a plus. The beds were so comfortable! AC worked perfectly. There was a hot & cold shower, too. The hallways are dark, though. > Staff: We arrived a bit early, and the Front Desk Agent was too nice to give us a room earlier than the check-in time. I also didn't have enough THB with me, and she allowed me to deposit in USD in the meantime. We also loved how Housekeeping cleans our room every day, changes our sheets / fixes them, replenishes water bottles, and replaces towels. For its price, D Varee Xpress Makkasan is a decent hotel - worth your money.

“Ok to stay for short nights”
I selected this hotel because the location is near to Makkasan airport link for me to catch an early train to airport. It is also near to Petchaburi mrt. Location is great. I selected this hotel because the location is near to Makkasan airport link for me to catch an early train to airport. It is also near to Petchaburi mrt. Location is great. There is 7-11 store next to it. However, the condition the room is old and gloomy. It is noisy as it facing the main road. The room did not have sound proof. I can hear the next room guests talking and open/close door. The bathroom amenities is just shampoo and shower gel in dispenser. Not great. Wifi is fine. Staff is nice and allow me to check in early as the room is ready. The housekeeper attendant is polite.
