We stayed here for 2 nights after a longer stay in Phuket and having previously stayed at their sister hotel Cape Panwa. Cape Hotel in Bangkok was just perfect and ended our trip on a lovely note. We were warmly greeted and looked after by the concierge who was absolutely excellent (sadly didn’t catch his name). He is a real credit to the hotel, very knowledgable and acknowledging our previous links to the Cape group, making our stay really personal. We also ate at the hotel restaurant No 43, which we would throughly recommend. The hotel pool was also lovely and quiet despite it being busy season. The Cape teddy bear was a lovely unique touch and serves as a great reminder now we are back home.

“A home from home”

We have just returned from a wonderful 10 day stay. From checking in to checking out everything was faultless. We have been staying here for many years. I cannot recommend Cape House highly enough…so much so, we have booked for next Christmas already.

“Good Location with only 3 Star Facilities.”

Location: Centrally located on a relatively peaceful oneway street (43 Soi Langsuan. This is the most positive aspect of this apartment hotel. Reception: Small and simple area. Location: Centrally located on a relatively peaceful oneway street (43 Soi Langsuan. This is the most positive aspect of this apartment hotel. Reception: Small and simple area. Some staff are welcoming and few are not at all warm. But the concierge team (without a desk/counter) was always helpful, smiling and helpful. Star Status: It is at the most can be 3+ star or average 4 star. Not at all 5 star facility, it is misguiding on their website when they write that it is a 5 star hotel. Rooms: We used two bed room apartment. One room is average size but the second room is small, not suitable to be a double room, in particular the location of a wall/pillar which gives almost no space to walk along the bed. This is poor design and bad structure. Hotel management must look into this and rectify. Linen and towels - good quality and clean. Living room - average size with a sofa, dining table, TV and small basic kitchenette and average quality of crockery and cutlery. Toilets: average facilities, well equipped, shower door well fit but may leak water out of the area, location of toilet roll is not user friendly. Cupboards/wardrobes - poorly designed, can’t be used fully and easily. Restaurant and Food: Overrated No. 43 restaurant. This is only a small restaurant with limited food options - though it claims to serve Italian and Thai food - but very limited options and average quality. Breakfast is ordinary and disappointing in variety and quality. As it is a narrow and small space, it can’t accommodate guests and we had to wait every day and we waited whenever we came to have breakfast. Sad aspect of the situation was that by 10 AM guests are still waiting to be seated and the staff start removing breakfast food items. Kids kept asking for the food but hardly they got what they asked. Positive aspects of breakfast was live station for egg/omelette, bread counter, juice and small fruit counters. Bar: non existent, a small corner in this small restaurant. Lounge: This was a big joke - it was classed as a lounge with day long access. But nothing except tea and coffee with some cookies. No alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages. The hotel must not advertise this as a lounge. Health Club, Swimming Pool, Sauna, and Steam Room: Poorly maintained. Small pool - no one visits it. Jacuzzi, Sauna, and Steam are not ready for use, whenever I used, I had to ask to prepare these facilities and had to wait for the staff who is never there. Will I come back? - I may come back to this property simply because of its location.
