“Aurum the River Place has an excellent location and a charming (if slightly worn) ambience. Well worth the price.”
You can’t beat the location, next to the river near Wat Pho. Our view of the river from the large windows in our bedroom was awesome. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. “Best hotel for Bangkok 's main sights.”
Excellent hotel, very friendly staff. Great breakfasts by the river. Comfortable and clean rooms. We cannot find a single negative. Best location across from the Wat Pho, very close to the Grand Palace and the Wat Arun. You can't go wrong. We switched to a different hotel to continue our stay… more

“Very nice stay”
Very nice stay. Small boutique hotel in a very nice location. Clean rooms and nice rooms overlooking the river. We arrived very early and the hotel gave us the rooms in advance. Breakfast in a very nice setting overlooking the river. We were two families and perfect for kids.

“Great location”
This hotel has more of a guesthouse feel with friendly staff. The location is great which is reflected in the high pricing considering it is not a luxury hotel. Just a small thing but I do think for a hotel that attracts international visitors they could do with some English and other TV channels.
