A lovely sedate location. To eat breakfast overlooking the canal is theraputic. The evening meal was delicious. Check in late at night was smooth but the receptionist was most interested in getting the payment rather than taking time to explain procedures and available facilities. I was just told to refer to the information book in the room. Most crucially, I was not not told if I ordered a coffee or anything else from the restaurant in the morning, this was extra to the breakfast already included in my room Poor. I'd still stay there again though. It's a basic hotel with a convenient location to the airport

Good for an overnight stay before flying back home . Staff were kind and friendly. Room was ok , but no safe ! Restaurant was ok , a little overpriced but the pizza was excellent, and service was quick and easygoing. Breakfast was basic but lovely setting by a river . Only 10 minutes from airport in normal traffic and hotel seems to be close to markets and shops . Shower didn’t have much hot water ! Public areas a little tired but clean. Very good for the price .

Aranta Airport hotel is well located close to the Airport. The rooms with a balcony overlook a pool. The rooms without balcony overlook a corrugated roof - these are okay for overnight stays. The hotel offers a pleasant setting with good sized rooms which are clean & quiet. The onsite restaurant or online food delivery means one can have a convenient meal with choices. The nearest shops are a 15 minutes walk. The cleaning staff are pleasant and helpful. The cleaning & room service staff made our stay enjoyable. The staff at the reception are mixed : Some smile, are welcoming and helpful whilst some have a bored, indifferent look. There is also a gentleman who sits to one side of the reception area - never smiles, never welcomes just grumpy. Then a hi-so showed up for dinner one evening in an expensive car - whilst I waited for a Grab delivery. This grumpy manager I think (who sits to one side of the check-in & acknowledges nobody) jumped out of his seat sooo sooo fast and raced to the parking area to welcome the visitors. So this kind of selective behaviour can put customers off. If your going to sit in the check-in area or to one side of reception it helps to smile & greet at customers. The hotel charges THB 100 for early check-in. Its understandable if a guest shows up 3 hours or more earlier. I arrived 1 hour earlier at 1 p.m, instead if 2 p.m and was hit with a THB 100 fee for early check-in OR I was given the choice of sitting in reception till 2 p.m (like one is in school waiting for the 2 p.m bell !). After check-in I learned that less thsn half the rooms had occupants. The amount of THB 100- by itself may seem insignificant. The THB 100- early check in (for less than 3 hours and in my case just 1 hour) speaks to an attitude which squeezes customers for money wherever possible. It makes customers feel unwelcome esp. since no other airport hotels are treating guests in this way. This fee is petty & displays small time greed ! Even the Novotrl & Mandarin fon't fine people for showing up an hour to 3 hours early !!

A small hotel very close to the main airport in Bangkok, useful for late arrivsl or departures the following day … however while having 2 x swimming pools and a great location in a small river some issues must be solved in my opinion… 😊 Some customers might wish to have s massage after a lkng flight but prices are far too expensive for the hotel; breakfast is not so good, especially as food is cold (eggs, rice, etc); the room I stayed was very good in size but no soap in bathroom as you have to get it from the shower cubicle is not the best… Pro is they have their iwn driver/shittle for THB200 from/to airport (approx 10/15 mins away; staff is very friendly and good; some rooms have got direct swimming pool access; location outside is great if you have not been in this area of Bangkok with night market, a large mall walking distance etc Thats all!

We only stopped for 1 night so that we could break up our return journey home. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. We booked the shuttle (200baht) for the airport only 10 mins away and we extended our room until 5pm (100 baht per hour so 500 altogether) which was definitely worth it with a 2am flight (which was actually delayed and cancelled in the end). Luggage storage is also available until you leave. The room was large with a balcony overlooking the pool, no safe, tea and coffee facilities provided but only soap and shampoo on the wall in the shower it would have been good to have soap by the sink. Be sure to only drink the 2 bottles of water from the fridge everything else is chargeable, you can top up your bottles at breakfast. The hotel is down a side street off a very busy road, there is a crossing both to the left and right around 10 minutes walk, one way to market land (street food and stalls) and the other to paseo mall ( more street food and stalls not more than 2 hours spent here if you eat). As we arrived so late we just ate in the hotel restaurant which is overpriced but the food was tasty. ( 500 baht for 3 meals no drinks...beer is a ridiculous price go to the nearest shop instead). The breakfast was quite honestly rubbish the choice was shocking. We had to almost beg to be made a fresh fried egg ( no other type of egg only fried was allowed) as the ones in the dish were dried up and awful. The whole choice was dried eggs, spring rolls, toast, watermelon, juice or tea and coffee with no fresh milk only coffee mate. No cereal or yoghurt or even other fruit. The worst breakfast we had in Thailand in 26 days. We did a couple of walks out during our last day and spent the remainder relaxing by the pool on 3 of the 4 sunbeds they have. Pool towels are provided if you ask. Pool was a fine temperature but could do with thorough cleaning. There is absolutely nothing to do after you eat dinner and are waiting to leave we just bought our own beer and sat in the room by the river with the fan on. It did its job for what we needed but I wouldn't spend any longer than 1 night here.
