“Perfect Hotel after a long haul flight”

We stayed at this gorgeous hotel in December, we were greeted by the lovely staff who offered us a welcome drink and helped us with our bags, which was wonderful after a long flight from Australia. Our room was modern, comfy and clean. The hotel was located close to the trams, bus and ferry. There is plenty of restaurants close by and the Christmas markets were located all around. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Zurich, we will be back in the Summer months to enjoy the city again.

Hotel Helmhaus was exactly what we wanted in our “home base” during our Christmas visit to Zurich. Location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the Old Town close to all of the city’s highlights. The rooms were spacious and updated with all of the modern amenities. Our favorite part was the exceptional customer service at the lobby (where they make you complimentary hot apple cider with or without schnapps!) and at breakfast. The team gave us lots of restaurant recommendations and directions to places we were headed. The hotel was situated perfectly to use the first rate bus and train system in Zürich. Thank you Hotel Helmhaus team for a job very well done!

The hotel was very central - walking distance to all major inner city attractions. The room was very spacious and well cleaned. The breakfast although small was superb and very fresh - one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. They also cater for vegans which is a plus. They also have a complimentary tea and coffee facility near the breakfast area which is self service and open 24/7. The staff were very nice and approachable and they made our stay as pleasant as possible. Would highly recommend.

“Pleasant boutique hotel”
We were greeted warmly, the room was functional, the breakfast was excellent. This small hotel is well placed, within easy walking distance of the S16 line to the airport. There is a nice Italian restaurant across the street (Molino) where the staff was very cheerful.
