“Eiger view, it doesn't get better than that.”
A little bit outside of the village but the views don't get better than that. The Panorama is amazing. Amenities are basic but clean, staff is nice. Good coffee and tea at breakfast. I would say that the view just makes the stay incredible as the Eiger north face is literally on top of you.

“Functional, friendly and reasonable priced”
Good solid product for a relatively modest price. Rooms are functional and clean. The last major building overhaul dates back a while and the revival of the bar would be a good idea. Friendly service, good breakfast in reasonable proximity to the centre of Grindelwald. Bus stop around the corner.

“Expensive for what you get, but I guess it’s due to timing”
We were staying in family delux room. I would not really qualify it as delux though. The room is not big, but not extremely small, ok for a short stay and if your target is skiing. “Not too bad, not too great”
The room was clean, the beds were small, the view was great. For the skiers the public bus is only a few meters heading downhill from the hotel door which is really handy. It only runs every half or so, so check the timetable. The hotel looks great on the outside but feels bland on the ins... more
