“Super Charming hotel in St Moritz!!!”

The Hotel Nolda was the perfect place to stay for our ski vacation in St Moritz. The location couldn’t be better since it is literally right next to the tram, on the beautiful River Inn. We walked to town a few times (we love exercise) so it’s not too far from city center (or it’s just a short bus ride for those less adventurous). You guys this hotel is so charming and the staff is incredible, every one of them! We splurged on a large room with a balcony and had the best view and the room was clean and comfy. We spent seven nights here and loved every minute of it. The food was really good every night and it was so nice not to have to think about where to go out to dinner after skiing all day.( we did take advantage of the dine around option once.) I would definitely stay here again!!!

“Excellent Stay!”
FANTASTIC STAY! We lodged in the superior room with balcony for a week. The hotel is the classic Swiss Chalet experience, with curated decor, wood forniture and excellent restaurant. The hotel staff was able to accommodate individual diet for health purposes. Strongly recommended!

“Great location for skiing”
Excellent location for skiers, right next to the tram. The main aquatic facility is a short walk away which is excellent for the whole family. Warm and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is perfectly located for skiing, you can even ski directly to the hotel when your day is done. The staff were very friendly, especially to our one year old son - they had no problem with him running around the lobby or at breakfast. The hotel is kid friendly and had nice high chairs available. The lobby is nice but I feel they could make It cozier by utilizing the fireplace, and second area that seems to go unused. I think people would be much more inclined to grab a drink in a cozy bar with fireplace and maybe also some music? Our room had adequate space for us and a baby crib, and the bathroom was recently updated. The room is clean and even had a small fridge. However the beds were not the most updated, they were quite creaky. Breakfast was good, they had all the basics you’d expect at a Swiss hotel breakfast. Coffee was good. We did half board so ate dinner there as well. The dinner is just fine. The menu was always a bit boring and we would have enjoyed some regional specialties from Graubünden on the menu - we were there nearly a week and the menu didn’t have any regional influence - not even a engadiner nüsstorte (despite the Hotel mentioning their recipe for the cake?) having said that, the food tasted fine and the service was good; and the price is also fair. But next time we wouldn’t do half board. Ski room is also good with a locker for your own things and space to change. The Signalbahn is so close by, for skiing it’s really perfect. Parking outside is free! Given everything I’d say it’s an average three star hotel, the food and beds are average, service and location are above average.

Hotel Nolda was nice. Upon dinner time arrival, they had no ability for us to eat even a light dinner while dinner was occurring in the building. We could not control the excessive heat in our room and it did not have a coffee/tea service or kettle in our room. Each cup of coffee or tea was a separate charge downstairs in the lobby and also in the breakfast room. Our breakfast was not included so we paid ridiculous amount for a mini cup of coffee. They’re only 2oz cups! They add up fast in euros! It’s our only hotel w/o a kettle in all of Europe so far and we have been traveling for weeks! Good elevator tho! That was a plus!!
