The hotel is right across the street from Lake Geneva, which affords spectacular views. Just a great location. From the moment we approached the door, the attending staff went to great lengths to make us feel welcome. Every staff member was courteous and helpful. We stayed in a king suite with a Lake view. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated. Even though we spent just one night, I am sure we would have been very comfortable with a lengthy stay. There are two restaurants on site. We dined in one of the restaurants in the hotel. I will post that as a separate review, but in short it was very good. I can certainly say without hesitation that this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Definitely a thumbs up for me.

Words can't express how impressed I was with our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Geneva. Our family trip (myself, my wife, and our daughter) took us to Geneva for 2 days, and I had booked a stay at the Ritz-Carlton, as we have never stayed at their properties and were eager to see what the experience was like. I was supposed to stay at the new Ritz Carlton in Amman a year prior, but some health issues caused me to cancel that trip, so this was our first opportunity to try it. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and provided with delicious iced tea. The woman checking us in showed us to our room, and how to use some of the various features in the room. We had a beautiful view of the Jet and a nice balcony to sit on. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. They also had special "gifts" arranged for our daughter in the room. She was thrilled with this nice little gesture. A backpack, a stuffed lion animal, some fun activities like crayons, stickers, and a fun bathroom kit with soaps, shampoos, etc. The way that this Ritz-Carlton treated our daughter was just amazing. She is 4 years old, and kept saying how much she loves this hotel. We have stayed at other expensive places that claim they are "family friendly" hotels, but they treat your child as more of a burden than a valued guest. The Ritz-Carlton really made us feel that our child was just as important as anyone else staying on the property. Every time we were in the lobby, someone would ask if she would like a drink, and she would gladly accept an apple juice. They would bring the juice out on a nice silver tray, and she would be beaming with joy taking it off the tray. The employees of the Ritz-Carlton would always talk to her, and make her feel comfortable. Something that we did not encounter anywhere else on our two week journey around Europe. While eating breakfast, a team member could see that she was bored, and surprised us with a fun activity folder and some nice colored pencils to keep her entertained. I had spent our entire trip in other cities asking for things, or having to think ahead, and at the Ritz-Carlton, they did the thinking for me. They would pro-actively reach out to me, or bring up things that I hadn't even thought of. When we decided to go for a walk, the gentleman at the front door offered us umbrellas, as it seemed like it could rain, and we are so glad he offered them, as it saved us from having to cut our excursion to the Jet short. Any calls to housekeeping or the front desk were answered and responded to immediately. No waiting. The other little things in the room like the candies, the personalized card, etc, were such a nice touch as well. The king bed that we had was absolutely amazing. It was something like out of a dream. The pillows, the mattress, the blanket. I only wish we could have had more time at this hotel. Also, for our daughter, the small bed for her was soft and very pleasant. She was so excited to sleep in her "cute bed". The hotel itself is small and beautiful, but, the most important thing for me is the service. It's easy for a luxury hotel to treat adults in a certain way, but it really speaks volumes about how they treat a child, and Ritz-Carlton was amazing. I still get excited thinking about how happy our daughter was and all of her pleasant interactions with everyone there. Thank you again to the Ritz-Carlton Geneva and your amazing employees. I hope they know how valued they are and how much their hard work, positivity, and friendliness meant to us! We hope to be back again one day!

Upon arrival, Pauline at the front desk warmly welcomed us and ensured a seamless check-in process. She went above and beyond by arranging a tour of their special suite and surprising us with a delightful breakfast setup the next morning. Pauline’s dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was unparalleled, making this stay truly memorable. Kossi, who assisted with our bags, Alice at the Living Room restaurant, and Aderina at reception all exemplified the Ritz-Carlton’s commitment to exemplary service. Thank you. The properties prime location, beautifully designed rooms, and breathtaking views provided such a memorable experience.
