Really good Hotel, 10 minute walk from the old Town. Specious rooms, efficient reception, large lobby with bar. I had an outstanding experience with the staff at this hotel, and I am compelled to share my gratitude. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism from Stefan, he was above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The ladies from the breakfast were always ready to assist with any request, no matter how big or small, and did so with a smile. Oliver and Pedro were so attentive serving in the restaurant, their kindness and dedication turned my stay into a memorable experience, and I cannot thank them enough. If you're looking for a place where you’ll be treated with respect, kindness, and professionalism, this is the place!

The hotel did not send a feedback survey after my stay which started on August 7th for three nights, so I will post one here. Full disclosure, I am Marriott lifetime Titanium. I don't know that this affects day-to-day occurances as staff don't know this, but disclosed. Previous reviews I have read about this hotel tend to revolve around one thing: The temperature in the rooms. The hotel notes on their website that they have a universal temperature control. How much this impacts the room temps, I don't know, but it was a bit warmer than we would have liked. Americans must be used to cooler sleeping temps, but the best we could do was 76. Keeping the shades closed, the bathroom door closed and a piece of clothing over the thermostat helped. This said, it was 100 each day outside so their system is really battling the elements. Meanwhile, aside from the temp: -Staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful and very happy to speak English. -The M Club lounge was terrifc. -Breakfast, which was included for us, was excellent. -The facility is clean and neat. -The fitness center better than most, AND BONUS, a beautiful sauna. The location is a few minute's walk to the Rhine and most major points of interest are walkable. However, as part of being a guest at the hotel, you receive a pass to ride the metro system which is excellent. There are stops for many of the different streetcar lines right outside the hotel and it is very easy to use. Many, many restaurants and cafes are within easy reach, but do be prepared to dig deep in your pocket as Switzerland is very expensive. Overall I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to a friend or colleague.
