Stayed 5 nights in April, during a rare sunny spell in Malmö. Arrived late by train on a Sunday night so was pleased to see the hotel just across the street and canal from Centralstation. Top marks for location! I had a double room on the 5th floor at the back, with "views" of the hotel's inner courtyard at the back, hence v quiet. Room was fine for me - but maybe a struggle for couples as bathroom space especially limited. No wardrobes or drawers for storage, just a clothes rail with approx 6 hangers, which was fine for a short break. Multi-channel TV. One bedside cabinet and a few sockets for charging. Good breakfast daily (6.30-9.30 weekdays) in a nice light Ikea-esque room on the 2nd floor. Usual continental fare, with some cereals and milk, a coffee machine, concentrated juices (not fresh, unfortunately), and bread/rolls with cheese and ham, boiled eggs, liver patê, toms, cucumber and gherkins. Tiny croissants and jam. Fine to set you up for a day's walk etc. The bread counter could be extended, though, as it can be very busy with queues some mornings... Another big plus was the fact you could help yourself to the coffee machine in the breakfast room all day as no kettle in your room. As I said, location is key - 5 minutes walk to touristy Lilla Torg with coffee shops, bars and restaurants, beautiful church of Sankt Petri Kyrka - also a nearby Lidl for handy provisions. 10 mins walk to some wonderful parks (Kungsparken) and a lovely peaceful cemetery full of trees and bluebells nr Gustav Adolfs torg. Courteous helpful reception staff too. Tak & enjoy Eurovision!

“nice quiert stay”

nice location, just next to central station booked a superior double room nice size very quiet so all happy here. Staff nice and professional, breakfast simple but all you need for take off for the day. Will come back

Moment Hotels make a point of boasting about the limited size of their rooms as a way of being economical and passing this on to guests, so they do not have to pay for unnecessary "air". Well, our room was indeed small. Perhaps not to the degree of being uncomfortably small, but definitely you would not want to spend a lot of time in a room that size during your stay in Malmö. An aspect I appreciated is the array of connectors for the TV set, which you can then use as a larger screen for your laptop, etc., providing you have the necessary cables with you. While enjoying the room overall, I was not completely satisfied with the breakfast. Eggs were there, admittedly, but only hard-boiled, and that is not to everyone's taste. A smoking-hot tray of scrambled eggs is a completely different type of welcome to the new day. The hotel's location, on the other hand, could not be more favourable: right opposite Malmö's central train station.

“Nice hotel , great location, not for the American retired traveler for sure.”

The location is great, close to town square,train station and lots of food places. the room was fine and had a nice shower area that had plenty of hot water and nice size towels. if you want a wash cloth , bring your own as the hotel does not have them as many european countries don't have them... more

We had the king room and the bed was comfortable but does not have sheets either which Americans are use to. The breakfast bar had lots of variety of foods but very little breakfast food. Only eggs available was hard boiled every day and could make toast if wanted. The food was more like a lunch menu with sliced lunch meats,cheese, bread rolls, tomatoes, etc. Not my kind of breakfast for sure. The other thing we didn't like was the shower had no barrier around the floor so water runs out all over the floor. we put towels to try to stop it, but that just slowed it down a little bit. they leave a squeegie in there so you can mop up when your done with your shower. The shower curtains only stopped the water from spraying around,it run out from underneath them. Also there is no vending machines so you have to go to the front desk to buy a few kinds of drinks and no phones in room to call front desk. with a few added things like a coffee machine in your room, a phone to front desk and some ice available, it would be a great place to stay. No clocks in rooms, guess they figure everyone has cell phone so they don't need one?
