From arrival to departure the hotel staff could not do enough for you. They were in the background but there if you needed assistance. Hotel is very cool and trendy. The decor has an edgy hip feel. It was spotless, crisp white bed linen. I was cold and requested another duvet which was brought to the room immediately. Bed was comfy, shower was powerful. Only problem was the handheld shower would not stay fixed to the shower attachment. There was another head shower if required. Great amenities in the bathroom. We had a high floor bedroom overlooking the street. The noise at night was from the bar/restaurant wasn't too bad and ended around 1am. Being high up it didn't effect us much. Room could have done with more storage space and lighting. We managed fine with lights and storage as we were only there a couple of days. Kettle with various teas and coffees - no English Breakfast in the hotel which was a disappointment. Breakfast is included in the price, it was fresh and tasty. A reasonable selection of hot and cold foods from the buffet. Highly recommend this hotel. The location was fantastic. Right on the edge of Ostermalm and very easy access to all other parts of town. Round the corner from water's edge, public transport, old town and shopping area. I would visit again - even better it's a Hyatt Hotel.

We stayed at the Story Hotel Riddargatan for 5 nights. We arrived very late at night and there was someone available at reception to check us in and provide us with our room keycards which was welcome after a long day travelling. Room was clean and very nicely decorated with a funky design. However there was very limited storage for clothes for our 5 night stay. There was a railing with coat hangers which you couldn't remove (perhaps to stop stealing?) but due to the design of these made it a little difficult to get a coat to hang on there straight. There were 2 small shelves near the fridge / room safe to put some clothes but that was it. Miniscule bedside tables. Bathroom was "small but perfectly formed" with hardly any space to put our toiletries. Open shower recess design while they look nice are not practical at all we've found. No matter how careful you are - water ends up all over the floor/soaking the bathmat. Breakfast buffet was on ground floor and had a great selection. Gluten / different dietary choices also available. Perhaps the Soy milk offering could be placed on ice or in a fridge as I found it was at room temp. Gingerbread biscuits were delicious! Gym not on premises but we were told a short walk away. We got a pass to use - but we didn't end up going. Reception provided a drink voucher for use in the Bar downstairs - again we didn't use this. However Bar seemed lively and busy at all hours. We did not hear any noise from the Bar in our room (we were on the 3rd floor). Location is excellent - nice neighborhood with short walk to all the major sights in Stockholm. All the staff we found friendly and accommodating - always greeting us coming and going from the premises. We liked the messages on the lift as it arrived at each floor - especially the 2nd floor. Very amusing.

Stayed recently for 3 nights. Great location in the heart of the city. The staff brilliant, do all they can to help with a smile. Bed comfy, room clean and bathroom amenities quality. The only issue I had was the noise from the bar on a Friday night, until 1am, i stayed in room 103, if you are not going to party, please request a higher room. I did make a complaint, I got moved the next day and the manager did email after and offered an apology, which I appreciate. I would stay again, but in a higher room. Breakfast is excellent also.

While the hotel is very cute and trendy and in a good location to walk everywhere, I would not stay here again if I needed a good nights sleep. It was insanely loud until 2AM. While the hotel is very cute and trendy and in a good location to walk everywhere, I would not stay here again if I needed a good nights sleep. It was insanely loud until 2AM. The rooms really need to be sound proofed. The street noise was insane. I felt like I was outside. You can also hear your neighbors easily. The toilet made a terrible screeching sound after flushing.
