These annoyances did not bother us, so all in all, we liked our one night stay, especially we liked the breakfast buffet in the morning.

“Very nice hotel in the heart of Stockholm!”

Nice hotel, close to everything. You can walk to the Katrina Elevator for great views of Stockholm, then walk across the bridge to Gamla Stan (Old Town). Nice hotel, close to everything. You can walk to the Katrina Elevator for great views of Stockholm, then walk across the bridge to Gamla Stan (Old Town). My room was big, American size, and had a big bed, a desk, and two chairs. Please replace the hard metal chair though. It was not comfortable. There was a closet to hang things and there were shelves for your clothes and other items. I was on the 6th floor and had a window that opened and gave great views of Stockholm. It can get noisy at night (especially Friday and Saturday nights) since you are downtown, so I recommend you bring ear plugs. Breakfast was great, lots of choices. The bathroom was modern and had a shelf that held all my bathroom items. Plenty of towels. The shower was powerful and very good, however every time you take a shower the bathroom will flood, as there is no lip to stop the water from pouring out of the shower into the rest of the bathroom. Maybe install a metal lip there to stop the water? No A/C, but this is standard at most Scandinavian hotels. The Red Sightseeing hop-on/hop-off bus can be caught right outside the hotel. There is also a subway station below the hotel. You can ride that 3 stops to the T-Centralen stop, and that connects via an indoor tunnel walkway to the Stockholm Central Train Station, where you can then take the Arlanda Express train to the airport. In a sign of how nice this hotel is, there is even a barber shop in the lobby. This was my first time staying at a Scandic brand hotel, and if I was in the future to visit countries that have them, I would be eager to stay at one again, as they seem to be a good value for your money and good quality.
